The couples were amidst their goofy game when a voice of a kid caught their attention.

"Papa!"

Everyone heard the call and glanced back only to find Adan near the glass door, holding his blankies while rubbing his eyes.

He wasn't wearing his sleepers and so his papa Vince immediately approached him.

"Hey buddy, why did you wake up again?" He asks his son.

Adan didn't speak and just asks Vince to carry him and so he did.

Then when Vince was about to return to his seat, he saw his wife Tricia approaching them.

     "What's wrong?" She asks immediately.

Once again, Adan didn't directly respond instead he reached his mama who walked a little closer so he can hug her.

"Hon," Tricia glanced at her husband.

Vince nodded and knew what Tricia meant to say right away then gazed at their friends, he motioned to them that they were heading back inside.

"Sure, send him back to sleep", "No prob!", "kami na bahala rito, we'll fix all after," their friends assured them.

On their way, Adan abruptly stops his papa then says "I'm hungry".

Vince couldn't help but smile.

"I knew it," he told his wife, "what do you want to eat, Kuya?"

"No sweet ha, it's already evening," Tricia reminded them.

Soon after they reached the kitchen.

Adan quickly picked a seat and Tricia helps him settle while Vince prepares a light snack when Halley showed up while holding a bowl of popcorn.

"Hey!" She announces her arrival, "why's Babie Dan awake again?" She asked.

     "Guess why?" Vince smiled.

Halley creased her forehead as if thinking while she swiftly glided towards her brother, "Hmm! He's hungry?"

"See, she knows," their papa chuckled then gazed at Tricia, "Clearly, it takes one to know one."

"You are so mean, Pa!" Halley gasped.

"Why? Did I say something bad?"

"You just said it! That 'it takes one to know one' phrase is usually used for retorting or as an insult! Right, Mama?"

Tricia giggles, "well you are quite correct, sweet bean."

     "See, Papa!"

"But that can also be used in a positive manner din naman. It depends on how one uses it in the sentence."

Vince tried to imitate Halley, "Oh see—"

"Psst! Tama na kayong dalawa ha! Hilig niyong mag asaran."

Halley abruptly grins, "bakit Ma, aren't we allowed to tease na ba? Dapat po ba kayo lang na ni papa?"

The mag-ama even did a high five when Tricia couldn't help but frown at the two.

"Just kidding, Ma!"

     "Ikaw talaga!"

     "Anyway!" She hugs her sweetly.

Vince joined the two, "may req. ka?"

"Yupsie," Halley giggles, "well since you and mama were here na, can I request some popcorns? I cooked popcorn but it's funny 'coz I forgot to add the caramel. Too afraid to burn it while cooking tho."
