Tricia reached her hands to hold them as Vince listens and comforts them as a father and a husband as well.

"Between you and Abbey, people, including myself, would think I should not even second-guess who I will choose because you're my daughter and—"

"Ma, you're not listening to me," Halley cut her off.

She wiped her tears once more.

"I was too young back then to comprehend a single thing of what was going on, eh. But, Ma, now that I'm older, I can fully understand your actions and decisions."

"Mama, no, please. Don't think that way."

Halley squeezed Tricia's hand as she looks up at them wearing a modest smile on her face as if still trying not to shed another tear.
