"Cheesy!" Halley said when the clip ended.
"What did you say?" Vince frowned.
"Ang cheesy mo, Pa!"
"Hindi ba sweet?"
"You are, but only to me. What if some peeps found this video diba."
"Hal, I'm always sweet."
"I know! But just imagine this old grumpy Mr. Vicente Gomez being cheesy and sweet for a straight 7 minutes."
"Loko!" Vince laughed then gently pinches his daughter's nose.
"Enough na, papa!" Halley stops him when he started tickling her.
"Of course sayo lang ako sweet, anak kita eh. Ano ba gusto mo, I'll be sweet with my teammates in work din ba?"
Halley saw Vince smiled meaningfully.
"Not that kind of sweet, Pa!"
"I'm only kidding, sayo lang ako sweet."
"And kay baby Dan?"
"Oh bakit siya kasama?"
"You're always sweet to him even if you only knew him for months, he calls you tito ice cream pa nga. And he's been with you in Cebu!"
"Still have selos, sweet pea?"
"No!"
"Sus!" He laughed again.
Vince started tickling Halley again which made her burst into tears while laughing so hard though she keeps stopping her papa.
"Wait, wait! Papa stop na please."
"You're still such a ticklish bundle!"
"You almost made me hungry!"
"Oh, ngayon naman you're being a cookie monster."
"Papa!"
"Just kidding, sweet pea," Vince chuckled before he stood up and reached for his coffee beside them again. "Did you have some breakfast na ba?"
"Nope," Halley replied then carefully grabbed the coffee from her papa. "It's mine now."
"Hmm, sige. Want me to cook breakfast?"
"Yes please!" Halley sweetly smiled at him. "And bring it here na lang papa, I'll continue to watch these clips."
Vince smiled a bit then looked at Halley curiously as if asking her.
Halley sighed.
But still manage to pull a smile.
"Baka thru this I can you know—at least know her."
"Why don't you just call and talk to her, I always check your phone she sends you voicemails."
"Take it easy, okay. I'm not ready," Halley turned it into a joking manner to keep the mood light.
"Okay, sweet bean. Tell me when you're ready to talk with her."
"Wow, that's what she said in her voicemail too."
"Ah, so you listen to it pala."
Vince widely smiled at Halley as if teasing her which Halley just frowned in return.
"Of course, I have to listen to it. I just don't reply yet."
"Hindi makatiis?"
"Hmp, gaya niyo pa ako sa inyo, Pa!"
