"Papa," little Halley holds tightly to Vince.

The entire place was chaotic with people running inside and panicking. Loud cracks and clashing metals can be heard clearly by everyone.

"Whatever happens, never let go of my hands," Vince told her while he securely put the life vest to Halley.

"What's happening, Papa?"

"I love you," he kissed her forehead then securely locked her inside his arms.

Halley was afraid and clueless about what was happening at the same time worried and nervous about what was about to happen next.

She tried looking around but Vince kept his hands covering her eyes so she wouldn't see how chaotic the scene was.

But still, there was a little gap between her papa's fingers which allowed her to see through the plane's windows. She noticed the airfoils (wings) were already on fire.

"Papa, I'm scared," she tightly gripped his polo and was on the verge of tears.

Vince couldn't think of anything else but to save his daughter, "Papa got you, sweet pea. Just hold tightly to me. We'll be safe, we—"

Just before Vince could even finish his line, the plane slid down fast. As the aircraft begins to disintegrate upon impact the fuel vapors ignite which then causes the remaining fuel to rapidly vaporize and ignite resulting in the huge fireball.

As the plane crashed into the vast ocean Halley could feel weightless within the cabin. Her body feels as though it was floating in space, with limbs drifting and everything hovering.

Halley was groaning when she was abruptly shrugged and heard a voice calling her name.

"Ate Halley, wake up po!"

She gradually awoke and recognized this was the same old flashbacks she'd been having.

"Hey, Dan," Halley began, smiling despite her throbbing head, "have you been he—?"

"I heard you screaming, so I came here in your bedroom," he says before hugging her and asking, "Are you okay, po?"

"Of course I am," she reassured her brother, "why don't you simply wait for me here, I'll just go freshen up then we'll head downstairs to have breakfast, sounds good?"

"Yes of course!" exclaimed Adan.

Halley kisses him on the forehead before getting out of bed and running straight to the bathroom to complete her morning routines.

After a minute, they both went downstairs and spotted their parents in the garden.

Adan was ready to dash towards them when Halley abruptly stopped him, telling him she had nice plans instead.

"Come on, let's go grab some breakfast ice cream!" She persuades her brother.

Soon after, the two children enter the kitchen and hastily grab some bowls of cereal and a pint of ice cream while Halley prepares milk for she knows their parents haven't been drinking coffee lately due to Tricia's situation.

Nonetheless, they appreciate the ice cream regardless of what beverages were paired with it as long as they share it with their family.

"Ate, let's go!" Adan said, pulling his sister along with him.
