Chapter 115: Five all over again

"Mama, hurry up po!" Adan exclaimed as he looks through the car's rear window.

     "Yes, baby, relax," Tricia giggles while she quickly parked the car inside, she glanced at the rearview mirror, "okay kids, we're home! Go get the paper bags!"

     The kids quickly did what their mama said then get off the car after.

     "Mama, where's the KFC po?" Adan asks while he looks back to their car.

     "Here, baby," Tricia showed him.

     "Gimme po, mama!"

     "Can you hold it?" She asks then Adan nods at her, "okay, hold it tightly, baby."

     Tricia carefully passes the box to her son and lets him hold it tightly before she grabbed the other boxes then closes the car behind her.

     "Hal, hold your brother."

     "Yes, mama!"

     "Thanks, sweet pea."

     Halley reached Adan's hand while she was holding boxes of pizza in the other, "Ma, we'll head inside na po! Dan's in a hurry."

     "I want to see papa ice cream! I promise him I'll bring home KFC!"

"Okay, please don't run!" She reminded her kids and watched them head inside.

Tricia looks back, "let's go?"

"Sure," Abbey approached her.

"Thank you for coming with us," Tricia smiles then caressed her cheeks, "we've been wanting you to stay with us, you know that."

     Abbey pulled a smile, "malakas po sa'kin si Hal and babie Dan, eh," she giggles.

     Tricia and Abbey followed the two inside then noticed them looking for Vince, "honey, we're back!" Tricia announces and soon they saw Vince emerged from his office.

     "Hi!" He greeted their two goofballs before he scooped Adan off the ground then walked towards his wife, "hon," he kisses her then looks at Abbey as he smiled.

     "Hi, Tito, it's nice seeing you again. Thank you for letting me stay here."

     "No problem, as long as it's for Tricia and our kids," Vince nods at her again, "thank you too for all you've done."

     It was still a bit awkward between Vince and Abbey and Halley could notice it right away.

     "Papa did you set up the movie room na po? We have been so excited about it!"

     "Naman, ako pa," he proudly said.

     "Thanks, Pa!"

     Halley was about to pull Abbey and Adan with her but Tricia stops them, "lunch first before movie marathon."

     "Mama naman," Halley pouted.

     "Eat first in the dining r—"

     "Can't we eat po while watching?"

     "Please, Mama," the kids pleaded.

     Vince glanced at their kids, "you three go ahead to the movie room, your mama and I will prepare our food. Ano ba yang mga binili niyo, ang dami."

     "Yay! Thank you, Papa!" Halley quickly passes all the boxes and paper bags to their papa, "wait, I'll go get the pizza and donut na po. And for the record, mama's the one who wanted all that kaya, papa!"
