Vince just finished his shower and was already dressed when he decided to check on Halley before he went downstairs and cook for their early dinner.

Halley was still lying on her bed so he didn't bother waking her up.

He just checked her temperature then left after.

As soon as he takes the last step of their stairs, he heard the doorbell ringing then his phone beeped.

It was Sev who messaged him, informing him that he was already outside.

Vince made his way outside right then.

"Here are the papers." Sev started.

He then handed the papers enclosed in a folder to Vince as they both made their way inside.

"In-update din pala ako ni Dr. Jove about sa exhibit niyo, tinanggihan mo pa rin daw but you still have the spot kung sakaling mag-bago pa ang—"

"Hindi ko naman na tatanggapin pa talaga yan, Sev."

Sev already knew his reasons so he didn't ask more about it.

"I know but they want to keep you updated pa rin since you're supporting the programs."

Vince just nodded in reply while scanning the papers.

"Anyway, I already booked your flight for tomorrow..."

As soon as Vince heard that, he suddenly remembers his work and that he needs to check the sites for their new project.

To be honest.

Vince completely forgot all of these matters.

"You have this invitation din pala, I'm sure you had read this already kasi they sent it directly to your mail also. And lastly, I talked with Auds and she said sige daw, she'll look after Hal."

"Okay, thank you for reminding me Sev."

"San si Hal, kumusta na siya?"

"On her room, nilalagnat pa rin."

"Okay, pasabi pagaling kamo siya." Sev handed him a box of cupcakes, he knew how much Halley love those.

     "Salamat dito, Sev."

"Welcome. Mag empake ka na mamaya."

The two bid goodbyes to each other until Sev left their house. Vince then made his way back inside their kitchen to continue preparing for their dinner.

Only half an hour just passed when he received another message.

It was from Tricia.

She informed him that she was only a few houses away and asked him to open the gates so she doesn't have to ring the doorbell.

In which he did and waited for her until she arrived.

"Hi, sorry kung natagalan ako. I have to go back home to get my car." Tricia explained as soon as she gets off her car.

"Ayos lang." Vince simply replied.

He didn't bother to check the gates since it had an automatic lock and made his way back inside.

Tricia followed him after she made sure to lock her cars.

"Si Hal?" She asks right away.

     "Upstairs still resting."

"How is she? Nilalagnat pa rin ba?"

"Oo pero bumaba na ng konti."
