Indeed that time flies so fast when everyone else was busy enjoying every moment.
The afternoon was almost through, yet the rain continues to fall, perhaps until nightfall or early next morning.
No one knows 'till when it last.
But one thing was for sure.
It will be a cold and cozy night.
"One more pa, papa ice cream!"
The little boy exclaimed in delight.
He had been riding at the back of Vince.
"Okay, hold tight our lil' knight."
"Yay! Faster papa ice cream, please."
Adan requested for them to have this role-playing game which he often enjoys and also building forts.
Unfortunately for Vince, his kids let him wear a full costume horse since Adan would be the knight in shining armor.
Even if he doesn't like the idea of him wearing it, he just did—for the sake of their children's happiness.
"Vince, baka naman mabinat ka nyan," Tricia speaks while she was sitting on the couch as she watches her mag-ama enjoys.
"Hindi, wala naman na akong lagnat."
"Wala na ngayon, pero mamaya—"
"I told you kanina, Tricia, I'm fine."
"Tapos sasabihin mo may headache ka."
"Concern?" Vince abruptly grinned.
"Oo," Tricia replied quickly.
Vince stared directly at her eyes.
"Why would you?" He smirked.
Until only then, Tricia realized what she just said, "so you wouldn't wake me up then ask for medicine, nangbubulabog ka po."
"Ah, so you don't want it," he keeps smirking while nodding, "sige mamaya, kakalabitin na lang kita. You like that more, don't you?"
Tricia frowned at him.
She quickly slapped Vince's arms.
"Ang loko mo, Vicente!
"Malaglag naman yung anak natin."
Vince laughed at her reaction.
He carefully let Adan get off his back even if the boy protested at first then carries him after as they sit beside Tricia.
"Ang mama mo, mapanakit noh," he teasingly said but had his eyes on Adan.
"You're not going to stop, aren't you?" Tricia threw her sharp stares at Vince.
"Joke lang, serious naman nito."
Vince rests his back on the couch.
Letting Adan sits in his lap.
He then stretched his arms.
"Vince, tigilan mo ako ha."
"What?" He asked innocently.
Tricia looks at his hand.
"Diba you want me to rest lang?"
"Yes, and you don't have to—"
