"Mama, check this please," Halley said while holding a tray of brownies as she let her mama see it, "tell me what else do I need to add."

Tricia glanced at the tray before she cups Halley's face, "they look so good, sweet pea."

"Aw, thank you, mama!" She giggles then placed it on the counter, "I hope it's not pang-bobola lang po ha."

"I won't, I promise. I'll be honest and have good judgment, they look so inviting!"

"They also taste good, mum, try it out," Abbey suddenly speak.

"Really?" Halley looked at Abbey as she nods, "thanks, Avs!"

"Let me taste nga," Tricia giggles.

She took a piece of the fresh brownies.

Halley and Abbey did the same.

"How does it taste, mama?"

Tricia took a minute before she speaks.

Halley almost bit her lowers lips.

Thinking she didn't do a great job.

"It doesn't taste good ba, mama?"

"Hindi eh," she told her daughter.

"I knew it, I'll make another ba—"

"It doesn't taste good lang, sweet pea."

Tricia held Halley's chin when she noticed the disappointment in her face then made her daughter looked at her.

     "Ang sarap-sarap niya," she added.

"It does po?" Halley unbelievably asks until her mama nodded, "the last time I bake brownies was a disaster po kasi, that's why I just buy in stores.'

"You almost perfected the ones I love eating when I was pregnant with you."

"Is it the one from wildflour, mama?"

"Yes, glad you still know it."

"Papa always bought it for me po."

"Talaga, he did?"

"Yes," she flashes a smile.

Tricia and Halley were in the middle of their conversation when they heard a loud giggle from Adan, "no, papa ice cream!"

This was followed by running footsteps which seems to be Vince while he chases Adan, "ran fast little tykes, papa's coming to get you!"

"Mama!" Adan screamed as soon as he reached the kitchen.

Tricia held their son and let him hide behind her, "stop running na baby baka mapagod ka."

"Is Adan here?" Vince suddenly asks when he too reached the kitchen.

"I'm not here po, look somewhere else!" They heard what Adan said which made them all laughing.

How silly, Vince said in his mind.

"Talaga? Then who's this?"

Vince ran towards their son.

He tried reaching for Adan.

But the boy keeps hiding behind her mama until Vince finally managed to scoop his feet off the ground.

"Enough with running na ha," Tricia said as she gently pinches Adan's nose which made him laughed.
