"Yes, yes, I'm coming, papa!" Halley said as she hurriedly grabs an expandable hose at the back patio.
"A little faster, anak, malapit na kami," Vince replied on the other line.
"What happened ba kasi, pa?"
"Basta, wait for us in the front gate."
Halley keeps her papa on the line while she quickly went back inside the house to head to their front gate.
She was halfway through when she saw her mama making her way outside.
"Papa, stop for a while!"
"Ha? Why?"
"She's at the—"
"Wait Hal, I'm losing you."
"Ugh!" She groaned when the call ended.
Halley quickly runs outside to somehow ask her mama to get back inside the house but it was too late.
"Oh my gosh!" Tricia exclaimed.
She saw Vince and Adan hopping off the car.
"What happened to my baby?"
Tricia hurriedly ran towards the two.
"Let me explain," Vince said right away.
He then saw Halley approached them.
"Sorry, papa," she said.
"It's okay," he mouthed.
Vince grabbed the hose from Halley before she went back inside then plugged it so her papa and baby brother can rinse the mud off their clothes.
"Vince, ang sabi mo babantayan mo."
"Oo nga," he replied to Tricia.
"Oh eh bakit ganyan?"
"We were on our way back home," he started washing Adan to get rid of all the mud. "Tapos we tried picking some flowers to bring home, the last thing I knew he fell on the mud."
"He fell?" Tricia immediately got worried.
She kneeled towards their son to check him.
"Does something hurt in you, baby?"
"He's fine, Tricia, I checked h—"
"He fell Vince, how can he be fine!"
"I'm sorry," he apologized.
Vince look at her.
"Nalingat lang ako sandali."
"Mama, are you mad po?" Adan speaks.
Tricia shook her head no then attempted to get the hose from Vince but he didn't let her.
"Ako na, Tricia," he insisted.
"Vince, ako na."
"No, just let me."
"Hindi na nga, Vince."
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again."
"Are you fighting po?" Adan caught their attention. "Mama don't get mad at papa ice cream po."
"Baby, I'm not mad."
"Why are you shouting po?"
Tricia remained silent then threw a sharp stare towards Vince.
