Vince had started the car and yet he just stays outside while he watches Tricia and Greg talking—more like starting to argue.

He wanted to make sure that nothing will happen after that situation, and if ever something happens at least he was still there just in case.

He just can't leave the place and even if he denies it, he still cares.

Once Vince saw them exited the place and hopped inside their car, he started the engine then hit the roads.

Vince was in the middle of driving when his phone rang.

     *Calling - My sweet bean*

     "Yes lil' bean?"

Vince put the call on loudspeaker since he couldn't hold his phone for too long while driving.

     "Sneaky-sneaky, you old grumpy!"

"Why so good with your rhyming?" He chuckled.

"Where are you, Pa?! I thought we are not supposed to sneak out especially at night."

"I just have to talk with someone, sweet pea."

"At this time, Pa? It's past 10 pm, not your working hours na!" Halley used to sermon her papa whenever he sneaks out.

"Ang lakas manermon, Hal." He laughed again. "That's probably one reason why I don't want another wife."

"Omg, Pa! Where did it come from?!"

Halley started laughing so hard.

Vince wasn't able to respond right away.

Where did it come from nga ba? He asked almost face-palming himself.

"I didn't know you're now talking about her, usually kasi you just say it when you're sleeping, pa."

"Ano namang sinasabi ko?" Vince sounded like he was challenging her.

"Hon, I'm sorry. Hon... hon... hon..." Halley imitated how her papa says it whenever he gets those dreams.

"Well, young lady your claims cannot be proven without proofs."

"Yeah, check your messages later. I hope those videos would be enough, papa."

Vince let out a loud groan making Halley burst into laughter again. If Vince was mapang-inis, Halley has probably doubled it.

"C'mon why a sudden call, don't tell me na it's just for your sermon dahil alam ko mamaya pag uwi—"

"Aside from that, pa, I was wondering if you can get me some pizza? You know just for my midnight snack while I do a movie marathon."

"Ginawa mo pa akong pizza delivery guy, and who told you you're allowed to stay up late?"

"Yeah, bye papa. See you and my pizza! Drive safe, love you!"

Halley quickly ended the call so Vince was left with nothing to do but to buy Halley some pizzas, and maybe grabbed something for himself too.

Tricia and Greg arrived back at their home, their whole ride was completely silent that no one even dared to speak.

As soon as Greg parked the car inside, Tricia reached for the door and was about to head out from the car when Greg locked it.

     Tricia looked back at him.
