Abbey was laying on her bed and couldn't sleep yet by the fact that she heard her mom and dad almost get into an argument a while ago.

Probably the reason too why she knocked on the door and cut the tension between them.

What would I do? She keeps asking herself.

It was as if after she had discovered something from her dad, she always feel the need to be fair.

Fair in a way that she tried her best not to pick sides.

She takes a deep breath and thinks.

After a moment, she decided to get up.

Grab herself some water for refreshment.

On her way down, she noticed the lights on her dad's office were still on and thought he forgot to switch it off.

She quickly heads inside then found her dad tidying his papers above the table.

"Dad," she called his attention.

"Oh, you're still up?"

"Can we talk po?"

"Sure, but you have to rest now too. Let's talk tomo—"

"Dad, let's talk now please."

Greg looked up to his daughter.

He noticed that she was serious about it.

"What do you want us to talk about, sweetie?"

"Please let mum and Dan go with them tomorrow, dad."

"Sweetie, your mum and I settled this already."

"You haven't, I heard you and mum."

    Greg heaves a sigh.

     "Fine, come here."

Abbey walked towards her dad then both of them decided to take a seat for a while.

"Sweetie, why are you telling me this?"

"Dad, you always grant Adan's wishes—"

    "Not this one, honey."

    "But dad—"

"He can ask me anything, I'll give it to him. But not this one."

    "Why can't you?"

"I can't just let them leave without me. Then what? To stay with them? With V—"

"He's still Adan's papa, and Halley, I know mum must have been missing her so bad, dad."

Abbey reaches his dad's hand.

"They are still and will always be their family, dad. That's the thing we have to accept."

"Abbey, why are you telling me this?"

"Dad, I know you hated the idea but can we look at the other side? I mean, look at you and Dan, you've been together all his life. You've been buddies since when he came into us. But for tito Vince, he just recently knew about Adan."

She looks at his dad and sees if he would react something different.

    But he didn't.

"And for Halley, we've spent time together, dad. I know how much she longs for her mom, they've been parted for how many years. Isn't this a great opportunity for them to know each other well?"
