Morning came, the sun rises above the skies. Vince woke up a minute before his alarm clock went on.
He kept his eyes shut and tried to wrapped Adan in his arms since he slept in the same room with them last night.
But instead of expecting to feel the small, chubby, and cute boy in his arms, he felt different.
By the smoothness of the skin and just smelling the hair right in front of his nose—he could tell it was Tricia.
Vince slowly opened his eyes.
He was right.
It was Tricia who was sleeping soundly right inside his manly arms and could feel her hands holding them.
Vince did not pull it away and had no intentions to abruptly wake her up.
He did not move nor speak.
He just watches her and let that moment be.
Since Vince was facing Tricia's back, he took the chance to move his head towards her.
Smelling her hair for the first again after long years of not being able to do it. It was one of those things he often does back then when he was the first one to wake up.
Then suddenly he felt Tricia moved.
Slow movements at first until he heard her yawned.
A signed that she woke up already.
Not being able to think what to do, Vince pretended to be asleep as he shut his eyes again.
On the other hand, Tricia who just woke up was not on her senses yet.
But she could feel a pair of warm and manly arms wrapped around her body, she let it linger for a while and wouldn't deny the fact that she likes it.
Yes, it was one of those things she loved when waking up.
Mornings, sun rays, and warm hugs.
Only then Tricia remembers she was still in Cebu and Adan's request last night was not what she expected.
She could tell those pair of arms hugging her was not Adan's and there was only one left who could be.
Tricia abruptly turned around and face to face with Vince.
"Where's Adan?" She asks then instantly moved away from him.
Vince who keeps pretending that he recently woke up, slightly groaned then slowly opened his eyes.
As if he just woke up at that time.
"Ha?" He asks when Tricia was looking at him.
"Where's Adan?"
"I don't know, sabay lang tayo nagising eh."
"Why aren't you wearing your shirt?"
Tricia almost face-palmed herself when she failed to hold that question, of all things Tricia, bakit yan pa una mong pinansin, she even told herself.
"I don't wear a shirt when I sleep, only my boxers. Alam mo naman na yan."
"Never mind."
Tricia quickly stood up, put on her light silk robe, and wear her slides before she made her way towards the door.
Vince reached for his shirt at the nightstand and wore it before he follows Tricia at the door.
