The next day after they arrived in Manila, Philippines, Tricia was taking her quiet time at the veranda of their condo while she enjoys her cup of cappuccino.

She was appreciating the view as she took a deep breath, closing her eyes to relax.

She couldn't deny the fact that at some point she misses the place and can't stop herself from remembering her simple life before.

-----

"I'm home!" A man announced his arrival.

A sweet little girl ran fast towards the door to greet the man, welcoming him with a hug on his legs.

"Don't run fast, baby." Tricia followed the little girl and welcomed him too.

"Hi, honey. I miss you." He kissed her.

"We miss you too, papa!" She carries the little girl so she can kiss her father.

"Kumusta si kulit? Pinagod ka ba nito, hon?" He asked again as he showered them with his kisses, taking his daughter from Tricia.

"No papa, I behave po." The little girl said then hugged him.

It took only a few minutes before the little girl fell asleep on his father's arms while her cute little arms were wrapped around his neck.

"Kanina pa inaantok yan hon, she was just waiting for you."

"Ang sweet naman ng anak ko." He gently kissed his daughter's forehead.

"How's your day hon? Kumain ka na ba? I cooked dinner for you."

"Nakakapagod, hon. I have to monitor my 2 patients. Hindi pa ako nakakakain simula kaninang lunchtime."

"Hon, I told you not to skip your meals diba. Baka puro ka na trabaho, napapabayaan mo na ang sarili mo."

"Okay naman ako hon, I just need to work hard so I can give you and our daughter a better life you both deserve."

"I know, and I couldn't be more proud of your progress and what you've accomplished. But please take care of yourself, doctor ka pa man din."

"I have to do this, hon. Ngayong licensed doctor na ako, I have to work for our family. Kailangan ko pang bumawi sa'yo hon diba. Noong nag aaral ako, ikaw ang nag tatrabaho."

"But don't work too hard hon, namimiss ka na rin namin ng anak mo."

-----

A loud knocking on the door made Tricia goes back to reality in just a snap.

     "Mommy!" Adan called from outside.

     "That's open baby, come in."

Adan quickly opens the door then ran towards his mother to join her in bed.
