Chapter 14: What comes next?

A few days later...

     Tricia was now getting Adan ready since after Abbey told them she and Gio will take him out for the day.

"Mommy, you're not coming with us po?" Adan politely asked.

"No baby eh, mom has work to do."

"Same with daddy po?"

"Yes, baby."

Adan just smiled then went back in playing with his iPad, he was humming a song that Tricia finds cute when he often does that.

     "I wish to see Mr. ice cream again." Adan suddenly speaks.

     This immediately made Tricia curious.

"Baby, who's Mr. ice cream?" She asks.

     "The one who bought me ice cream last time, mommy." Adan stops playing for a while to look at his mom.

     "Who's that?"

     It seems like she still has no idea.

     "I told you before po when we came here."

     Tricia suddenly realize it was Vince he was talking about, they unexpectedly met before and he bought Adan an ice cream.

     "Ah, the one you bumped with before?"

     "Yes mommy, he's the one who ate and I had told you and daddy."

     "Why do you want to see him again, baby?"

     "More ice cream." Adan giggles, such a cute and innocent little boy.

     Tricia couldn't stop herself from smiling just by seeing how Adan reacted, "you're acting as if you know him."

     "Yes mommy, I'll call him Mr. ice cream."

     "If that's what you want, my baby. But next time don't accept anything from anyone again, okay."

     Adan just nodded at his mom then Tricia wrapped her arms around him for a tight hug.

     *knock knock*

     The door slightly opened then Abbey quickly stepped inside then sat on the bed beside Tricia and Adan.

     "Mum, we'll bring Nacho with us so Dan won't throw his tantrums later," Abbey informed Tricia.

     "Okay but tell your dad, and keep an eye on your brother ha."

     "Yes, mum. Gio and I will be in charge of him." She assured her mom. "Anyway mum, Hailey just messaged me. We'll meet this afternoon."

     "You've been hanging out for days already."

     "I know, it's like we knew each other since before. We just clicked!"

     "I'm happy to know that, sweetie."

     "By the way mommy, when will we continue my list na po? You and dad suddenly became busy with your work eh, I thought we're on a vacation?"

     "We'll do that soon, sweetie. Your dad and I just had to settle some things first, okay."

"Okay mum, but make it quick please. I've been dying to try those stuff!"

Tricia smiled then gently pulled her kids for another tight hug while showering them her soft kisses, "I love you, my babies!"

"We love you too, mum!" They both said.
