Napangisi nalang si Joey sa narinig na sinabing ‘yun ni Daniel. Wala naman pala itong pakialam kay Xavier pero nagawa pa ring tumiwalag sa Team Spider. Ibang klase! Kung sabagay kahit naman sila ay ginamit lang sina Myrna at Jonathan para matapos na ang pagpapanggap ng mga taong ito na sila ang Diyos. Na sila ang mas nakakataas. 

“Hahahaha!” napahagalpak naman sa tawa ang kanyang kuya na si Joaquin. 

“What’s funny then? Is my analogy wrong?” tanong ni Daniel.

“No! Actually you’re very much correct Daniel. That’s why you deserve to be part of our three personas. But look what you’ve done? You become a traitor together with Takashi. And you recruited all the members that works under you! So tell me, how can I trust you with this deal? How? Tell me!”

“Do you know that deal yet?” tanong nito.

“So tell me the deal.” – Joaquin.

“Let’s just leave here and have our separate ways peacefully. Let’s just not fight. That’s it! Let’s leave these two teams of false Gods to fight on their own.”

“Then after leaving? What are you going to do? You’re all not part of the Team Spider anymore, let me remind you about that.”

Ngumiti si Daniel. “I know. We are the traitors because we don’t like you anymore Joaquin. On what we are going to do after this is none of your business.”

“Hahaha! Okay fine! Deal! Let’s leave in separate ways here, peacefully!”

Si Takashi ang huling umalis na nag-iwan pa ng masamang mga titig sa kanila. 

Hinarap niya ang kapatid nang makalayo na ang mga ‘to. “Why did you have that kind of deal to them?” tanong niya rito. “Joaquin they are traitors. They might contact our clients and create their own human trafficking group. They might become our rivals. They know everything about how we do things here in Spider.”

“I know that Joey. We’re going to kill them all to avoid conflicts with our clients. But for now, that’s not our priority. It’s still pandemic. Those narrow-headed freaks can’t do anything with our accounts yet. We need to help Myrna’s team first to win this fight. And for now, we just need to wait for this fight to be over. Let’s see who’s going to win between Xavier and Jonathan.”

Nanatili lang sila sa labas ng Heaven’s Palace. Doon sila nag-abang ng kaganapan. Ire-report nila kaagad kila Myrna ang magiging resulta ng laban sa pagitan nila Xavier at Jonathan. Ilang minuto rin ang lumipas at nabalot ng kadiliman ang palasyo. Literal. Nawalan kasi ng kuryente sa loob. 

“What’s happening Joaquin?” tanong niya rito.

“I don’t know. It seems that there’s a power interruption.” Tugon nito.

Napaisip siya. “Wait! What if Jonathan is on the way to Xavier’s location via elevator. That’s why Xavier cut the electric supply to trap Jonathan. That’s his chance to kill Jonathan. We need to help Jonathan! We need to bring the power back!” 

“I know where the power control of the palace located. Let me turn it on!”

Samantala, sa point of view naman nila Daniel at Takashi. Pagkatalikod ng kanilang grupo ay wala naman silang planong lumayo. Tatanaw din sila sa hindi kalayuan upang malaman mula kay Xavier ang sunod na bahagi ng kanilang misyon. Mayroon na silang buong detalye ng napagkasunduan. Aabangan nalang nila ang senyales upang ituloy ang dapat nilang gawin.
