chapter fifty three;

June 29, 1975

"Maddie? Ugh- Do you have any pain killers? I have a pounding headache from last night. I wasn't planning on getting that drunk," Roger asked.

"Yeah, there's some in the front pouch of my suitcase. Do you feel nauseous any?" I asked.

"Yeah, a bit. But I'll be fine. The nausea will go away soon along with the headache."

"Alright, if you need anything just wake me up again," I chuckled.

It was about an hour later, and I did end up getting waked up again.

"Maddie! Maddie love, wake up!" I woke up and rubbed my eyes, trying to comprehend what was happening.

"Huh? Yeah? What's going on?" I asked confused for sure.

"The boys are here! Come down and say hi, they wanted to see you and I."

"Are you sure they're not just here to see me?" I chuckled. I got some clothes on and went downstairs with Roger hand in hand.

That's when I saw my best friend, and the rest of the band.

"Freddie!" I shouted as he looked over at me. "Oh hello my darling! How've you been? How's Paris been so far?" I asked giving me a tight hug.

"It's amazing! I still can't believe Roger took me here." I beamed.

"Tomorrow is your one year anniversary inn'it darling?" Brian asked.

"Yes, it is. I'm kind of scared to see what he's going to do, but I bet I'd appreciate it a lot." I said.

"I bet you will darling," Freddie smirked. He knew something.

We all went fancy Paris restaurant hopping, trying all kinds of different foods. We tried all kinds of things, but my favorite were the yummy desserts I couldn't pronounce.

"Freddie why exactly are you boys here?" I asked him as he was eating next to me.

"Because darling, we thought it'd be nice to spend a day or two with our favorite couple," he laughed.

"Hey! We're here too! We have girlfriends too y'know," Brian said pointing at him and Deaky.

"Yeah but the drummer's girlfriend isn't your best friend," he smirked.

"Woah there, there's no need for that. Deaky is obviously my favorite," I joked.

"Hey! Did me kissing you all those times mean nothing?" Roger said as he grabbed my thigh from under the table.

"Shhh it's okay babe, I'm just joking," I whispered and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He smirked at me and kissed my lips. Right in front of the other boys.

"Alright alright get a room you two!" Brian whisper shouted.

We laughed as we paid, and went to the next restaurant. After about two more restaurants, we decided to go for drinks. I told Roger there was no getting shitfaced, so he pouted and decided to go to the hotel room instead.
