Maddie's POV

"Who could be here this late at night?" I asked.

"Hm not sure petal, should I answer it?" Roger asked. I nodded and checked on the twins that were in little hospital cribs right next to my bed.

"Is there anything you need sir?" I heard Roger ask.

"Hello yes, I'm here to talk to Madelyn," I heard a man say.

I was still in pain, so I couldn't really move to see who was at the door.

"Um alright, make it quick please, she's really tired," Roger said as he let the man in.

I scooted over a bit on my bed and let Roger lay down next to me. The man stood there with a smile on his face.

"Is there something you need sir?" I asked.

"Look at how much you've grown up, and you've already got a family and everything," the man said.

"I- are you a fan here to bother us or do you actually need something," I asked.

"Maddie, it's me. Do you not remember me?" He asked.

"Um no, you don't really ring a bell. It'd be nice if I could know your name at least," I said a bit rude. Roger didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.

"I'm your father, Jason Freeman."

Those words rang through my head. Over and over. The only man I had in my life before my mother ruined it. He finally found me.

Roger's eyes grew wide. He was feeling the same emotion I was, shock. Once I told Roger about what my mother did those three years ago, we never brought it up again. My mother just barged into my life without me wanting her to.

"D-dad-" I stuttered.

He smiled, a tear strolled down his face. Roger some how on cue, got up and let him give me a hug.

This was another amazing feeling, besides being in Roger's arms, I've always wanted to be in my father's arms.

"How've you been all these years?" I asked.

"Ugh it's been utter torture, I've been trying to figure out what you mother had done with you. Then four years ago, I had seen you and this fine young man had been seeing each other and that's when I got a good feeling that he had been taking good care of you," he said.

Roger chuckled and brought my dad in to a hug. That was an image I thought I'd never see throughout my years of living.

"Would you like to hold the twins?" Roger asked. My father nodded and smiled as they made their way over to the other side of my hospital bed.

I was still a bit sore, and I was also dying to go to sleep. That's when I finally drifted off, knowing that I had the most important people in my lives in the room with me.

Roger's POV

"So where are you from?" Mr. Freeman asked me.

"I'm from Kings Lynn, although I grew up around the Truro and Cornwall area," I said he nodded and smiled down at Holly.

"So what have you and Maddie named them?" He asked.

"Well Mr. Freeman-" I said before I was cut off.

"Oh please, call me Jason. I know I'm a grandfather now, but don't make me feel too old now," he chuckled. He and Maddie's mom looked like they were in the 40's so they must've had her in their early 20's.

"Well Jason, Maddie and I made a deal. She said if we were going to ever have a boy, I could pick the name. I said if we were ever to have a girl, she could pick the name. We both had used my band mates names in the names," I started, "The girl's name is Holly Mae Meddows, and the boy's name is Ben Fredrick John."

He smiled, I knew he was happy with the names we both chose.

"Just a question, where did she get Mae and Meddows from?" He asked.

"You might know the guitarist of our band, Brian May, she got May from his last name but switched the y to an e. And Meddows in my middle name, and I have to say, she made it go very well with Holly's name," I said.

I have a feeling I'm going to grow a good relationship with her father.
