chapter one hundred fifty nine;

That same day.

"Maddie," I said as I walked in the house. She was sitting on the couch with Princess.

"Yes Rog?" She asked.

"Well um," I started, "Paul booked us another tour..."

"Roger that's great news!" She said.

"But... Its going to be scheduled from November to May. I get a two week break to come stay here with you. Although in April, I'll be in Liverpool. Maybe I could make it, but I theres a possibility I can't," I said sadly. Her eyes started filling with tears, god damnit Paul.

"Rog- I-" She stuttered.

She sighed in and took a deep breath in and out.

"It's okay Roger, we will hope you will be here in time for the twins to be born. I'll try to get them to stay in so they can meet you when they meet me," she said calmly. She then gave me a sweet smile, I sat down next to her.

"I promise petal, I promise. If they decide to come out early, then that's that. I can't really control that," I said trying not to cry.

She patted the couch seat next to her, I came over there and wrapped her in my arms.

"I love you," she said into my chest.

"I love you too petal, I love you too."

That night.
Maddie's POV

I laid in bed, Roger was in the shower. Princess was snuggled next to me, keeping me company. I kept thinking. I tried to think positively, but it all became sad.

What if Roger really wasn't going to be there for the birth of his kids?

God damnit this is too much to take in.

Roger came out of the shower, his shampoo scent filled our room.

"Hey love," he said.

"Rog, could you maybe try to make it work?" I asked.

"Mads, I promise you. I will try my absolute best to be there for you. Even if it means missing a show, I will do anything to be here at your side." He smiled.

He hasn't called me Mads in a while.

"Alright, come lay down. Right now you have two girls waiting on you," I laughed a bit.

He smirked, not even bothering to put clothes on. 

"Naughty much?" I giggled a bit.

"Says the one who's pregnant," he smirked some more.

"Says the one that got me pregnant," I said as I pushed his shoulder a bit.

His smirk soon turned into a frown.

"What if I'm really not there for you when they come along?" He frowned.

"I'll do everything I can to have them wait on you, hopefully they will," I said as I caressed his cheek.

His kissed my hand and then my lips.

"Goodnight petal, I love you."

"Goodnight, I love you too Meddows."
