August 6, 1977

Roger was fixing to leave to go to the studio, I decided I wanted to tag along with him.

"Can I come to the studio with you?" I asked.

"I mean you don't really have a choice petal, I've got to keep you and sprouts in my sight." He said.

"Sprouts that scares me a bit." I laughed a bit.

"How come? Two babies mean twice the fun," he said as he came to wrap his arms around me.

"Yeah, but two babies means two humans I have to push out of me."

"Aw petal, it won't be as bad as you think it is. Veronica even said it was worth it with little Lizzie," he said.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his waist.

After our little moment, we headed over to the studio. The boys were already done with a few songs on the new album.

When we got there Veronica was sitting on a couch with John, Chrissie and Brian were on another couch.

"Where's the babies?" I asked the both of them.

"My parents are watching both of them," Veronica smiled.

Roger sat on a chair, which meant I didn't have anywhere to sit. Great.

"Where will I sit?" I asked.

Roger patted his lap.

What fun.

"Come here petal," he said.

He sat me down on his lap gently. God he was so protective over me.

We were looking at a baby magazine. It had furniture, fashion, and supplies. Roger and I were beaming over the clothes they had when we heard Brian get up.

"Everyone up on the drum rises," he said.

We all hesitated except for Chrissie. She motioned us to come, but we waited a few seconds.

"Come on," he said.

We got up on the drum rises, I was a bit confused on what Brian was trying to do.

"I want to make a song the audience can help us perform," he started.

"Start with this," he said. He stomped his foot twice leaving out a third beat.

We stomped a couple of times, then he switched it up.

"Now we need to add a clap on the third beat," he said. We stomped and clapped on the third beat. It sounded like a good little beat.

Freddie walked in. He was late, which we weren't really surprised about. He's been late a lot lately. For once he didn't have Paul with him.

I feel like he's changing.

"It's surprising seeing you without Paul," Brian said.

"And it's surprising seeing you so bitchy," Freddie sassed back.

Freddie walked over in front of Brian.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"I want to make a song that the audience can perform. So what can I do?" He said as he stomped and clapped, we joined in with him.

"What the lyric?" Freddie asked.

Two hours later.

We were all sitting around a table. We were chatting the rest of the day away which Brian was trying to come up with lyrics for his song.

"So how'd the baby doing?" Veronica asked.

"Oh yeah, the babies are doing just fi-" I cut myself off. They all looked at me and Roger.

I forgot I hadn't told them. Shit.

"Babies?!" Freddie screamed.

Roger and I looked at each other and nodded slowly.

"Babies!" Brian cheered.

"Babies!" John mocked after him.

Chrissie came and hugged me.

"Babies," I said finally.

"How many darling? Three? Four?" Freddie asked jokingly.

"Two, I think. Well, according to the doctor," I said as I snuggled myself into Roger's side.

"She told me on my birthday, the way she said it scared the life out of me." Roger chuckled as he put his arm around me.

"How'd she say it?" Freddie asked.

"I'm not eating for two anymore.." Roger mocked.

"That sounds exactly like Maddie all right," Freddie laughed.
