"Come on Maddie, we can't be late to this press conference," Roger said as he came into the nursery.
"I know, I know. I'm so happy Queen's new album comes out today, I love it." I said as I picked up the twins and put them in their carriers.
"It's pretty great," he said as he locked the house door behind us.
We put the twins in the car and made our way to the hotel lobby where the press conference was being held.
Twenty minutes later.
"Alright boys are you ready to go out there?" I asked as they were done getting ready.
"Are you coming out there with us?" Freddie asked.
I nodded and handed Roger little Holly Mae, and I carried Ben. We went to go sit down, and the paparazzi started cheering.
I sat down next to Roger, I had one arm around Ben and the other under the table hand in hand with Roger's. He did the same with Holly Mae.
"Ask away," Freddie said confidently.
"Freddie, have you put out your sexuality yet?" A man asked.
Freddie didn't answer, instead he just ignored the question and said next.
"John, Brian. Where's your children and wives? Have you left them at home to hook up with other girls behind their backs?" Another man asked.
"Questions about the album please," Brian said.
"Roger, Roger! How are your twins doing?" A woman asked.
"They're doing just fine, but we'd like to answer questions about the album," he said.
Holly started to get a bit fussy, which seemed to set the reporters off with questions. Roger simply cooed and rocked her slowly and she fell asleep in his arms.
"Why is there a song called Fat Bottomed Girls and who wrote it?" A man asked.
"I wrote it, and if you listen to the song you'll know why I wrote it," Brian said.
"Roger, did you write any other songs besides Fun It and More Of That Jazz that you didn't sing in?" A woman asked.
"No, I usually sing the songs I wrote. There may be sometimes that I write songs and want Freddie to sing them, but I usually sing mine," he said.
People wrote down what the boys were saying, and they were snapping pictures a lot. Ben got a bit fussy, which never really happened, so I decided to take the twins to the back and calm down a bit.
"I'm going to take the twins in the back, the cameras are irritating them," I whispered. Roger nodded and handed me Holly Mae. I went in the back and sat on a couch that was behind the curtain.
Roger's POV
"Roger what did Maddie just whisper to you and why did she leave?" A man asked.
"What she whispered don't pertain to you, and she just went in the back to calm the twins down," I said annoyed.
Paul came and sat in Maddie's seat. God, I didn't care if he was late I really didn't want to see his god damn face.
"Sorry I'm late everyone, I was caught in a bit of traffic," he announced.
Everybody then turned their attention to Paul, which In glad they were shooting unimportant questions at the boys and I.
Since people were giving their questions to Paul, I decided to go in the back and check on Maddie.
"You alright petal?" I asked as I sat next to her.
"Yeah, Holly Mae and Ben just needed some alone time," she said. I saw the twins were babbling to themselves and each other, that's what I loved seeing them do.
"Well that press conference is almost over, so I'll stay back here with you," I said as I picked up Ben.
I wrapped my arm around Maddie and it were as if time stopped. This is where I wanted to be, with my family.
