The day I've absolutely dreaded most finally came.

Roger and I were on our way to the airport. Luckily Veronica said I could stay with her while they were on tour. Princess was waiting in the car for a few minutes while I said goodbye to Roger. Veronica was alright with her staying. The tough part is, we're both pregnant without our husbands.

Roger grabbed my hand as we followed where the other boys were.

"Hello Maddie darling, I'm so sorry it had to be this time of year," Freddie said.

"It's alright Fred, this is the one tour I'll have to fully miss out on," I said as I gave him a hug. I gave Brian and Deaky a friendly kiss on the cheek and then came my turn for Roger.

"I'll miss you," I said as tears started streaming down my face.

"Oh no petal, don't do this to me. Please, I'll miss you way more," he said as he sniffed a bit.

We brought each other into our embrace. Always, I wanted to stay here forever.

"I've got to get going now love, I promise I'll call you every single night to check up on you," he said as he pulled away.

He brought me into a kiss, his touch made me want to go but I knew I couldn't.

"Bye Roger, I love you."

"I love you too petal."

Two hours later.

"So how are you feeling?" I asked Veronica as she made tea.

"Oh I'm alright, I stopped having morning sickness not too long ago," she said as she carried Lizzie toward me. Princess was laying on the love seat sleeping.

I grabbed Lizzie from Veronica so she could go manage the tea. Sometimes I always thought Lizzie was a child of my own.

"Mad Mad!" Lizzie shouted as she smiled at me. She was starting to talk a bit. Of course she could say mama and dada, but the name she had for me was adorable.

I held her in my arms, she was the sweetest. I love her so much, and I always will.

Later.
Roger's POV

We landed in New York not too long ago, we were already at the hotel. This tour we were all over the place. This time we were doing North America first, and Europe last.

I went straight to the phone once I had gotten into my hotel room.

It rung a couple of times, but she eventually picked up.

"Hello?" It was Veronica.

"Hey Ronnie, could I speak to Maddie? I just wanted to check up on her s'all," I said as I twisted the phone cord a bit.

"Of course, you don't have to ask me twice."

I heard some rumbling around in the background.

"Hello?" This time it was Maddie.

"Hello love, how are you?" I asked.

"Roger! I'm doing well, the sprouts have been kicking a lot today," she said I could tell she was stretching a bit.

"Aw man, and I'm not even there to feel the little sprouts kick," I frowned.

"But hopefully you'll be here for when they actually come to this world," she giggled a bit. I smiled, she's so beautiful. Just thinking about her makes me smile all the damn time.

"Oh love, it's like 10 pm for you. You should get some sleep," I said.

"Maybe you're right, I am getting a bit tired," she laughed.

"I'll call you tomorrow, I promise. Oh, and please make sure you're eating good. You need to stay healthy especially with the two sprouts on the way," I said.

"Alright Roger, I love you," she said. I could tell she was smiling.

"I love you too petal," I said. I hung up and thought for the rest of the night. Soon enough, I fell asleep in my thoughts.
