Natsu: We're finally here!
Clair: It seems a little late to have a battle though.
Natsu: What do you mean?
Mick: Look at the door.
Natsu reads a sign on the door
Natsu: "Welcome to the Nimbasa City Gym, the gym will be open to challengers tomorrow at noon. The gym will remain open until six pm in the evening. Have a nice night." No!
Riolu and Tigra pat Natsu's back
Mick: Let's head to the Pokémon center and I'll make dinner.
Natsu: Food won't be enough to cheer me up.
Clair drags Natsu away
"At the Pokémon Center, hours later (ten pm)"
Natsu sits on his bed with a pen and paper
Natsu: This gym is an Electric type gym right?
Mick: Correct.
Natsu: I got it! The perfect plan!
Natsu crumples the paper into a ball and throws it in the trash
Clair: What's your plan?
Natsu: Since Tigra is part Electric type he won't be really effected by the gym leaders Pokémon.
Mick: So you'll be using Tigra for your battle?
Natsu: No.
Tigra's mouth falls open
Natsu: I've been relying on Tigra, Dewott, Tepig, and a couple of others for a while. It's time to change things up.
"At the phone"
Sky: Been a while Natsu. What can I help you with at ten in the evening?
Natsu: I'm in Nimbasa City right now, and tomorrow I'm going to challenge the gym leader for my fourth gym badge. I need to switch out one of my pokémon.
Sky: Sounds good to me. Which one would you like to switch?
