Ref: Battle begin!
Sai: Use Dig!
Steelix uses Dig
Clair: We'll use Dig too!
Excadrill uses Dig. The ground shakes
Announcer: It sounds like Excadrill and Steelix are clashing underground!
Sai: Use Crunch!
Excadrill gets sent flying out of the hole it dug, and Steelix re-emerges from the ground
Clair: Use Drill Run!
Excadrill uses Drill Run and hits Steelix in the face. Excadrill lands back on its feet in front of Clair. Steelix shakes its head
Sai: Use Sunny Day!
Steelix uses Sunny Day and the air gets hotter
Announcer: Steelix has started up a Sunny Day. Feels like I'm at the beach.
Sai: Use Fire Fang!
Steelix uses Fire Fang and traps Excadrill in its jaws
Clair: Excadrill!
Excadrill tries to break free
Sai: Bite down harder!
Steelix bites down harder with Fire Fang
Clair: Use Mud Shot!
Excadrill makes a ball of mud and stuffs it in Steelix's eyes. Steelix drops Excadrill and shakes its head
Sai: Steelix, you okay?!
Clair: Wrap it up with Drill Run!
Excadrill uses Drill Run and hits Steelix. Steelix falls onto its back and the crowd cheers
Announcer: And a super effective Drill Run ends the battle!
Ref: Steelix is unable to battle! Excadrill wins! The match goes to Clair!
Clair: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Excadrill hugs Clair
Sai: Take a good rest.
Sai gets Steelix back in its Pokéball and throws his second Pokéball, Duraludon comes out
Duraludon: Dural!
Announcer: Sai's second Pokémon is Duraludon!
Clair: I'll keep going with Excadrill!
Announcer: Clair has decided to keep going with Excadrill!
Excadrill gets back on the field and smirks
Clair: Drill Run go!
Sai: Brick Break!
Excadrill uses Drill Run, Duraludon dodges and hits Excadrill with Brick Break
Clair: No!
Ref: Excadrill is unable to battle! Duraludon wins!
