Narrator pov. Continuing~

Edogawa told everyone he figured it out.

He hinted that everyone knew the place, and that Genta goes there 5 times a week, which made the boy recall all the places he frequents.

Haibara urged him to hurry and tell them the answer since they only had until sundown.

Although he told her to calm down, he started by explaining what the number code meant: an animal's call, the number of letters used to write how the animal cries to be more specific.

He then asked everyone to guess what each number meant in this context, starting with 6. Irene let Haibara answer that, which connected to the hamster's cry.

For the rest of the numbers, he said to separate the big ones and think of cries that worked in that kind of number.

As Agasa realized one of them was a rooster's cry, Irene nodded in agreement, a dog's cry being (bow-wow) on the other hand...

'Is that a British thing? Because they actually sound like (woof)s or (bark)s... Eh, it doesn't matter. Probably the old version.' she shrugged the slight confusion off

When Genta said that roosters didn't sound like that, both Irene and Haibara said, "That's how the cries sound to Americans," before looking at each other when realizing, then they just smiled.

After that, they figured out that the code referred to 4 different places, and Edogawa told them to connect the places in the order they were written, and they realized the place so they went to Agasa's car.

They arrived at the place and after going near the car that was parked there, Irene smiled as she noticed Agasa staring at someone and looked over.

Then they saw Kinoshita Fusae, or Fusae Campbell now, standing there by the tree.

When the boys started calling her beautiful and too good for Agasa, Irene gave them a look that made them shut up.

And then Genta pushed Agasa Fusae's way.

When Billy, Fusae's stepfather's friend, who was her driver, stepped out from behind her, everyone else assumed he was her husband, but Irene knew better.

When Fusae looked at the detective boys and called them Agasa's grandchildren, Irene didn't stay silent and shook her head at the woman and mouthed in English, "He's single! We're just neighbors!" in her direction with a smile.
