"Hi!"= Talking in English

Narrator pov. At the Kuroba house~

Irene returned and she greeted, "Tadaima!"

Kuroba greeted, "Okaeri!" as she came into the living room and saw that Miyuki had come just like she asked.

Miyuki smiled and they hugged as she greeted, "Hey, Sakura-chan." then asked, "So what did you want us both to be here for?"

Irene placed her backpack by the couch before sitting on a seat across from them and said, "We need to talk about... an idea I have."

Noticing her serious look, both Kuroba and Miyuki had serious looks of their own as Kuroba asked, "What is it?"

Irene took a deep breath before saying, "I'm thinking of talking to Vermouth and trying to get her on our side." 

It took a minute before Kuroba, who heard a lot about Vermouth from her, reacted with, "Eh?!" thankfully being quiet enough that the Nakamoris next door wouldn't get alerted.

Irene nodded and explained, "I have been thinking about it for a while, and with how she seems to be, it might work, and this way we can get a really powerful hidden spy in Their ranks."

Kuroba immediately replied, "No. No way. That's too dangerous. Not only is she a member of Them, she's a killer! She might kill you on the spot."

Irene looked down but then Miyuki spoke up, "Actually, it might be a good idea." Irene perked back up.

Kuroba looked at Miyuki and said, "You can't be serious."

Miyuki replied, "I am. Sakura-chan is not someone to underestimate you know, she can befriend anyone if she wants to. I believe in her."

Kuroba stood up before he said, "I'm not approving this, she might get killed without us knowing any better!"

Miyuki stood up too and looked back at him, "Well, I'm saying she won't! In fact, you can use your doves to listen and make sure she's okay while I take care of keeping Ai-chan away so nothing bad will happen."

Irene blinked as she realized they were starting to argue about whether they should let her do this or not, and sweatdropped with a sigh, regretting bringing it up as she listened to them bicker for a while.

In the end, though, Miyuki said, "Just let her do it! You'll watch through the doves and if anything happens you can call me since I will just be watching over Ai and can come over. Besides, the best time to meet Vermouth would be when she's injured in the phone booth and she isn't stupid enough to kill her in such an obvious place, especially in her condition!"

Kuroba sighed and replied, "Fine. Fine you win, we'll do it."

Miyuki nodded before saying, "That's what I thought." 

Irene laughed a bit, of course, Miyuki knows how to win arguments for her sake. Well, that and she's technically the older one so she has more experience in winning arguments.

Kuroba grumbled but sighed as Irene replied, "Arigato... Both of you." she smiled, "I'll try to not let you down." 

Miyuki smiled back and gave a thumbs up, "Good enough for me." 

After that, the two friends hugged then Miyuki gave Kuroba a wave before leaving the house and going back to her apartment.

Irene looked at Kuroba and asked, "Are you mad?"

Kuroba sighed, "Nope. Just frustrated with her good points and that she's right about how you can befriend anyone... I'll be okay though."

Irene nodded before Nakamori called the two over for dinner and they left.

Well, it didn't start the way she expected.

But that was a good discussion, especially since her idea and plan were approved.

Yep, Irene finally talked about her plan to talk to Vermouth with both Kaito and Miyuki.

And it looks like she's got the okay thanks to Miyu-chan, now isn't that a great bestie?

Kaito had a good point though, not gonna lie. But hey, Irene survived death already so...
