Bank robbery (Part 1)

AN: The detective boys vs the robbers case. Hope you all enjoy it!

Narrator pov. At the bank~

Ayumi had invited Irene through Agasa to come with them to the bank, where Mitsuhiko would deposit his New Year's allowance, and she agreed to come after realizing which case this was.

She had met up with them at the bank, and Ayumi asked Mitsuhiko how much of his allowance he was going to deposit, only to find out he was depositing it all into his own bank account that his parents had made for him.

Haibara mentioned how Fusae started lending Agasa money to keep his inventions going and so they could buy groceries, looking pointedly up at him as he blushed and chuckled nervously.

As that conversation went on, Irene stayed silent, her emotionless expression not changing.

And then Genta held his stomach in pain.

After some questioning on what he ate before coming here, it was apparent that he ate too much mochi, which was why his stomach was upset.

As Agasa said that he and Haibara would go get some stomach medicine, Haibara told Genta to go to the bathroom and let out what he could.

The rest of the detective boys, including Irene, went with him to the men's bathroom, because no one else was in there, it was fine for even the two girls to go in.

Genta immediately entered a stall while the others stayed outside by the sinks.

Ayumi then turned to Irene, "What about you, Irene-chan? Where do you put your allowance?"

Irene blinked at the question before answering bluntly, "It comes in a money book that I only take from when I need it."

Mitsuhiko let out a "He~eh?" before he asked, "Is it really that much money?"

Irene shrugged, "It won't be if Chikage-Obasan isn't so generous when she sends me some." 

Ayumi's eyes lit up at the mention of the woman, Edogawa and Mitsuhiko seemed to remember her, too, and she said, "Ah, that pretty lady! So she's overseas again?"

Irene nodded, "She's the one who sends me and my cousin allowance."

Mitsuhiko and Ayumi let out another "He~eh?"

Before anymore could be said, the loud sound of a bang was heard from inside the bank.

Edogawa realized what it was as Irene nodded at him, and he ran out to check while telling the others to stay here.

He came back a few moments later and told them that there was a bank robbery happening.

Genta got out then, and they all hid by the corner.

It didn't take long before they heard someone coming, and heard a male voice along with a muffled female one.

Irene knew that was Jodie, and it didn't take long before there was a thud.

They got out and saw Jodie in the stall as she untied herself.

She was surprised, but then she noticed Irene and was even more shocked when she saw her eyes.

Irene only said, "Konnichiwa, Jodie-sensei," in her usual tone.

Jodie's expression softened before she asked why they were all here, which Edogawa answered with the real kids joining in, Genta assuring that his stomach was fine now.

Edogawa asked how many robbers there were, which Jodie answered as she explained all the weird stuff about them.

The moment Jodie started putting on her accent, Irene and Edogawa wordlessly dragged the real kids to hide in time.

After the robbers came and took care of Jodie and the passed-out robber, then left, the detective boys got out of hiding.

Realizing they have to be the ones to take down the robbers, Edogawa started telling the detective boys a plan.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Another mention of Chikage and how most of the detective boys met her before; wasn't that sneaky? :3

And yeah, Jodie didn't get to see that Irene lost her colors again before now, so it's no wonder she was shocked.

Fugasa mentioned again. I know some people thought I forgot about them, but for movie 13, it was too dangerous for Fusae to be included, and she is a famous designer, so she isn't always free.
