Narrator pov. At Agasa's~

Agasa had asked the detective boys to help him find an invitation letter that he had lost, so they all came over to look.

Mitsuhiko and Genta complained about how Agasa should've kept the letter more carefully, making Irene look at them in a deadpan.

Haibara then said, "Will you stop complaining?" making everyone notice her as she yawned. Irene gave her a wave as Ginga walked over from the non-messy side of the living room and rubbed against Haibara's legs.

With a smile, Haibara crouched down to pet the kitten and explained how they were all to blame, too, after the mess they had made yesterday.

Ginga went over to Irene, who happily petted her and gave her a cat treat.

The two real boys got embarrassed at Haibara's reminder, and Edogawa started to look while saying, "By the way, you look sleepy as usual."

Haibara yawned more and replied, "You got a problem?"

Edogawa just added, "I guess you can't help being sleepy since you get up early and go to school with Midorikawa and Ayumi-chan to look in on rabbits at school."

Ayumi blushed in surprise as she asked how he knew, while Irene immediately searched her hair for the ginkgo leaf, finding it stuck to her hair brooch and pulling it off as Edogawa explained.

After a compliment on his deduction by Ayumi, Haibara added, "Then would you please hurry and look for the letter, Tantei-san?"

As Edogawa explained the most likely place for the letter to be, Irene placed the leaf by Ginga's ear, the kitten seemed to love it as she licked Irene's hand, and the brunette giggled and said, "Looks good on you, Ginga."

After finding the letters, Ayumi then noticed Ginga's new addition of Irene's leaf and exclaimed, "Ahhh, Kawaii!"

The others also looked to see it, and Ginga seemed to look proud as she sat still to let them get closer and look. The girls giggled when the kitten turned her head like a model.

After that, they all sat down on the couches after cleaning up a bit as Edogawa held the letters they found and started giving them back one by one while saying the type of letter it was out loud.

Ginga was sitting by Irene, who was sitting on the edge of the couch beside Haibara.

When they got to a certain old letter with childish handwriting, Irene smiled as she saw Agasa's reaction, 'They looked so cute together... I wonder if it's okay to stop the misunderstanding and get them to pair up?' she thought to herself.

Agasa then started explaining his past with the letter's author, and then Edogawa read the contents, noticing how the first name got smeared out.

After discussing all the places Agasa went to see her every 10 years before today and how he didn't meet her then, Edogawa pointed out that they have a hint left on the letter.

Edogawa admitted he had no idea what the code meant and then explained why neither Kogoro nor Suzuki were available when the kids suggested asking either.

When Haibara recalled the brand-name handbags designer's name, Irene smiled a bit wider, 'Ah, right, Haibara-san will be a fan of those designs too...'

The kids got the idea that the zoo was the place based on the owner's name, and Irene sweat-drooped, knowing the truth.

She would've told them it wasn't and got Edogawa to figure out the real meaning of the code, but knowing that Agasa does end up meeting old friends there made her keep her mouth shut, deciding instead to just get Agasa to meet everyone there faster.

So they get to the zoo as the kids told each other to search carefully for Agasa's first love, making him embarrassed to know it was that obvious.

Irene giggled before Haibara noticed the numbers written on the nameplates of animals in the zoo.

After finding out what they meant and knowing the donkey was the 33rd animal to get here, they started running, though Irene knew they'd find the wrong person there.

After finding out from Agasa that the woman there was someone else he knew, they went to think again before going to the nocturnal animal section when coming up with a flying squirrel as the solution to the code.

They got there, and Irene thought it was a bit funny that it was a guy standing there, and how he was dressed a bit too much like a girl, even the others thought he was without looking at his front.

After some encouragement, Agasa approached, and the others found out they were wrong when the person turned around to reveal his barely grown beard.

Irene then talked the kids out of pressuring Edogawa into calling Mouri, knowing it would just waste time.

After nothing happened when asking the intercom to ask for her to come and Agasa's somber speech about how he was content and opening the door, Irene was the one who caught the card that the wind blew away from Ayumi's hand, returning it to her.

When Agasa mentioned that he remembered her hair color and how it wasn't brown, Haibara figured it out immediately and added, "When I was in America, I experienced being teased because of my Asian looks, so I understand how she feels."

Irene smiled sadly, looking away, and added, "Same with me," making Haibara look at her in surprise while Edogawa did so in sympathy, placing a hand on her shoulder as she relived those years.

Edogawa then figured it out after asking Agasa if the girl had any pets and ran back further inside with the others following him.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Yeah, Irene was with Ayumi and Ai, thought they should spend more time together off-screen.

Ginga looked cute with the ginkgo leaf in my head, so I decided to let it happen.

And Ai finally knows about Irene being bullied.

It turned out to be another two-parter, but hey, in the next part, Fugasa will sail!

So what did you guys think? Did you like it? Which part was your favorite? Hope to see your feedback soon!

That's all. See you next chapter!

Stay sweet my fellow anime lovers!~
