Narrator pov. Continuing~

Irene and Haibara kept their eyes on the wall clock while discussing a bit.

Irene smiled slightly, "It's been a while since I played hide-and-seek. I'm excited. Would've liked it better if I didn't have to be the seeker."

Haibara smiled slightly at that last part and replied, "But it's nice to be on the seeking side for once."

Irene then remembered the danger she had from Vermouth.

She nodded, "It is."

Haibara then announced, "Five minutes have passed." She looked down away from the clock and started to walk off as she said, "I'll look from floor 5 and up. I'll leave the bottom to you, okay?"

Irene replied, "Hai!" and started down the stairs to the bottom floors.

She found Genta first, at the same original spot, as she lifted up a table cloth she heard snickers from under, "Genta-kun."

Said boy was surprised as he crawled out.

She heard from her badge that Haibara had found Edogawa and Mitsuhiko.

She passed by a moving laundry cart and only said, "Ayumi-chan," without really looking as the woman employee stopped pushing the cart at that.

Ayumi sighed as she peeked her head out of the cart and looked down at Irene, who just gave her a smile.

She went to look for Suzuki while avoiding the marine bay and other places close to where she knew murders would happen, but ended up having to regroup with the others.

As Haibara decided to keep looking since they had 13 minutes left for the time limit, Irene went back to the bottom floors.

She had decided to actually get into the marine bay, as long as she got Suzuki out before Kusaka got there, then everything would be fine, and no one in their group would get hurt.

Surprisingly, it turned out Suzuki really was hiding there, and Irene called her out, "Sonoko-neechan, found!"

Suzuki clicked her tongue as she got out of hiding, "Aw man, am I the last one at least?"

Irene shook her head, "Ran-neechan is, we haven't found her yet."

Suzuki didn't look surprised, "Figures the hardest one to find is the last... Ja, where is everyone else gathered?"
