Narrator pov. Continuing~

Miyuki, meanwhile, had just gotten out of the grocery store with the bags of groceries she needed.

She used the remote to open the car trunk and loaded the bags in before closing it and unlocking the car to get inside.

She started the engine and began to drive off to her apartment, starting to think about Akai's last words at the hospital.

"I do have a bad feeling about today. Be careful."

'What could Akai-san mean by that...? I know his sense of these things is usually right, but...'

She couldn't help but think about it as she stopped at a red light, seeing the clock on her dashboard to notice the time, 'Can't call and ask now... He's probably being called to the meeting with Hidemi-san... And I can't risk ruining their plan...Or interrupting his explanation to James-san...'

When the light turned green, she continued to drive, but now she felt something off, a weird chill.

As if she was being watched, or followed.

She looked through her rearview mirror as she purposefully swerved right hard, noticing a car behind her matching her pace without honking.

The road lights at this part of the road were out, so it was too dark for her to make out the color of the car behind her at this point, but she was sure of one thing: 'Looks like someone's trying to be an uninvited guest...'

She gripped the steering wheel tighter before she increased her speed, not surprised to hear the car behind her doing the same.

'Is that what Akai-san's bad feeling was about? Maybe...'

There was a ramp to the right that led to a better-lit road that was on the way to her apartment, and she swerved to take it.

Now in more light, she looked through the rearview mirror again, only to widen her eyes, "That's..."

It was a very familiar car, belonging to a certain member of the Organization.

Gripping harder in shock and confusion, Miyuki took a deep breath, 'I'm sure it's a misunderstanding... But I need to get home. I know everyone else at the complex is out on a joint trip that I had to decline for work, so it'll be easier to confront him there.'

So she hit the gas and went faster, hoping to either lose him or at least get there fast enough to be prepared to chase him away.

She arrived at the parking lot of the complex fast enough, and hurriedly parked the car and ran out, locking it behind her with the remote, forgetting about the groceries for now as she could get them later.

She ran up the stairs to her floor, taking out her keys and holding her gun in her pocket, which she fired once behind her as a warning shot once she heard the other car approach.

She heard stomping and the metal railings being hit behind her, but didn't dare look back yet.

That was a mistake.

Before she reached her own door, a gunshot rang out through the area, stopping her in her tracks as pain suddenly flooded her body.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Yep, another cliffhanger with even more suspense, you're welcome. :3

Well, looks like Miyuki figured out who was after her and that they're not willing to chat the hard way.

Worst time for the rest of the complex to be out on a trip, but it's also a good thing in this situation; no innocents could get hurt like that.

So is that it? Is she dead? It's obvious the bullet hit her somewhere, but is it somewhere vital, or will she survive? That's for me to know and for you to find out, in the next chapter. :)

So what did you guys think? Did you like it? Which part was your favorite? Hope to see your feedback soon!

That's all. See you next chapter!

Stay sweet, my fellow anime lovers!~
