Narrator pov. Continuing~
Edogawa took out his bowtie, set it to the right voice, and took the passed-out robber's phone out of his pocket before dialing the last number on the phone.
After the phone call, Edogawa smirked, while Irene hid by the corner just in case, as the robber with light blond hair came into the bathroom.
After Edogawa lured him out, and she heard the thud of him falling and hitting his head, she joined the others.
As Edogawa took out this guy's phone and explained what he would do next, he saw Irene shake her head at him, signalling not to do it as the other number wasn't one of the robbers'.
Edogawa paused as he got the message and tried to search for other numbers, which made the real kids anxious as they said the expected lines.
Edogawa blinked as he started to think about how the robbers were behaving so far, realizing what their plan really was in the process.
He looked at Irene, who was looking at her watch and nodded at him, before he told the kids to bring the hose, and when they did, he told them he figured it out while starting to tie the robber by their feet up.
The kids were surprised, and Edogawa started explaining after he finished tying up.
Irene then advised him against taking the gun, "The police will question it and you'll get scolded," so he left it.
When the shouting from one of the robbers inside the bank came, Edogawa instructed everyone on what to do, then Irene spoke up, "I'll do my own thing, if you don't mind, Edogawa-kun."
He nodded, knowing she was going to help her own way, before everyone else went to their positions and started running.
Irene herself went back into the bathroom
When the loud bang from the explosion in the elevator went off, Irene turned on her watch and aimed it at the passed-out robber's neck the moment he twitched, knocking him out again.
'Better to avoid that drama,' she thought to herself while closing the watch lid, before getting out and joining the others by the elevator as Edogawa explained why the explosion was timed.
They all walked back into the bank's main room as Ayumi wondered how they were going to find the robbers among all these people.
Edogawa answered by taking out his bowtie again and, after whispering that he was going to use one of the robbers' voices again, he shouted, "Yosh! Everybody, stand up and slowly walk towards the direction of my voice!"
Irene watched as almost all the hostages stood up and started walking towards them, except for three who were sitting in the back, by each other.
Three men who weren't real hostages, but the robbers in disguise under tape.
Edogawa approached them and pointed them out before turning to the real kids and telling them to wake the manager up and untie him so he could open the door.
The kids nodded as Edogawa explained how the police would take in the 3 that were still sitting, along with the guy tied up in the corridor and the passed-out robber, who didn't suddenly appear thanks to Irene's interference.
So, after the doors opened, the riot police burst in, and the robbers got arrested in no time.
The detective boys then reunited with Agasa and Haibara, the now-woken-up Jodie joining them.
She still remembered a certain someone she saw in the bank and started looking around for him before she snapped out of it.
Seeing James and Camel, Irene got an image of Miyuki standing with them, a ghostly illusion of what could've been.
'It would've been better if she also faked her death,' she thought, not out of sadness, just an empty feeling.
After the 3 FBI left together, Irene said, "I should get going home. Try not to get your stomach upset again, Genta-kun."
She turned to leave and added, "Ja ne." before walking off, hearing them return the farewell in their own ways behind her.
She arrived at the station and boarded the train home, explaining everything she was able to change to Kuroba before eating leftover dinner and going to bed, not sleeping immediately like usual.
The flute that Miyuki got for her was sitting on her cupboard, a stand holding it up as it seemed to glow softly from the little moonlight peeking through the curtains.
AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!
Yep, Irene kept the fat robber knocked out to avoid the whole drama of Conan almost getting killed again.
And that thought of Miyuki... She's not really wrong.
So what did you guys think? Did you like it? Which part was your favorite? Hope to see your feedback soon!
That's all. See you next chapter!
Stay sweet, my fellow anime lovers!~
