"Okay, any ideas?" Nagi muttered, lifting the heavy weight with difficulty. Masaru took it from him, easily lunging it above his head. "We're more of a powerhouse. I'm the brain." Nagi snickered.

"And I'm the brawn." Masaru easily flexed the weight behind his neck. "Well, the rest of us too." He chuckled, kicking Ko in the sneaker as she was glaring at her own weight.

"Hey!" She snapped, restraining herself from throwing it at Masaru's head. "This is serious. We need to be looking for a way out." She snapped at him. "Especially a way off the island."

"Do you think there's boat storage somewhere here?" Masaru frowned. "I say we skip." He whispered as the teacher passed nearby. "We hit the vents and get to work." He looked around.

"I don't know." Nagi shrugged lightly. "If we're not here by lunchtime we're kinda screwed with the asshole." He crossed his arm. "And the teacher is keeping an eye on us." He said absently, grabbing another weight. Ko looked over her shoulder, the teacher looking away quickly. "She thinks she's slick." Nagi snickered.

"Why don't one of us go?" Ko murmured. "The rest of us can do what we're told. We can save lunch for that person as well." She smiled. "I brought the map." She patted her backpack on her back. Jataro crossed his arms, nodding.

"Want me to go? What do I need to find again? A pathway out, our weapons, and anything else useful." Jataro checked his watch. "Lunch is around two, right?" The kids nodded, Nagi pulling him aside after Ko quickly handed him the map.

"Listen." Nagi walked him to the back of the room, keeping an eye out. "Try to keep under the radar. They might be on alert because of us already." Nagi muttered, crouching down to start unscrewing the vent system.

"I will." Jataro glanced at the map. "What do you want me to do if I find the weapons?" Jataro asked him. His eyes widened as he glanced around the corner. "Nagi, stop." He clapped his hand on Nagi's shoulders.

"Teacher?" He asked, looking up. Jataro grabbed him by the collar and threw him lightly, Nagi spinning gracefully to a stop. He blinked, blocking Jataro from their view. "Oh, it's you." He muttered quietly, looking her up and down. It was Rosemarie, who was tapping her feet impatiently.

"What are you doing?" She questioned him, looking around. Nagi chuckled darkly.

"I was looking for you after you snitched me out to the biggest asshole in the world." Nagi muttered, crossing his arms. He walked away, leading her away from Jataro who was continuing to work on the vent.
"Well maybe you shouldn't be carrying around a dangerous weapon." She stuck her tongue out at him. "My mommy said if you keep cursing she's going to put in a formal complaint with Lord Kawaki." She teased him, smiling brightly.

"Oh my god." Nagi groaned, running a hand down his face. "Leave me alone, little child." He muttered at her. "You won, okay?" He asked. "That's enough for now. I have to keep training." She skipped after him, clearly enjoying messing with him as he sat down with Ko and Masaru.

"That's not enough for me." She said sweetly, placing her hands together. "Our rematch is today." She pointed at him with an excited face. "And I'm going to wipe the floor with you for the second time! How's your eye by the way?"

Instead of answering, Ko stood up abruptly, moving in front of Nagi. "Leave." She said simply, her arms crossed. Nagi was smiling, a hand on Ko's shoulder.

"She's not bothering me." Nagi chuckled. "She's fine." He added slightly. Ko was clearly about to challenge her.

"Who are you?" Rosemarie teased, smiling big. "I didn't see you yesterday. You must be new." She reached over, flicking Ko in the pigtails. "You clearly don't do much training." She pointed out. "After all, your hair is so much nicer than mine." She smiled.
