Chapter 171

 Y/N entered the apartment, the kids running around happily as she got back. She walked in, her face a blank state as she carried her bottle in. Kawaki was laughing, Jataro telling him one of his silly stories as the kids played. "Hey." Kawaki tilted his head in her direction. "Are you planning on drinking tonight?" Y/N looked away from him, shaking her head no. "That bottle is about as tall as the baby, I hope you're sharing." He chuckled at her.

"Yeah." Y/N said, nodding as she put the bottle on the highest shelf. Nagi crashed into her legs, Y/N nearly stumbling as he nuzzled her. "Naruto's daughter is spending the night with us." Y/N said quietly. Nagi squeezed her legs, smiling at her.

"Okay. We'll be good. We went upstairs and set off these cool glows in the dark sticks." Nagi laughed. Kawaki walked in the kitchen, seeing Y/N pat Nagi's head.

"Cool babe. Hey." Y/N looked over to Kawaki. "Are you going to a party tonight?" Y/N asked him. Kawaki nodded, walking over.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" He asked her, taking an apple that was sitting near her. "Not my kind of scene, but my brother is forcing me." Kawaki rolled his eyes as he bit into the apple. Y/N lightly pushed Nagi away, pointing to the living room.

"Boruto told me." She said nonchalantly. "Said it was going to be a ton of drinking, and I have to watch Himi tonight." Kawaki nodded to her, listening to her talk. "I thought you were going to spend the night?" Y/N asked, pouting at him.

"I am." He shrugged. "I was gonna pop in there for a bit and leave, that's all." Kawaki shrugged. "And then I'm coming back and you'll have me all night." He smiled at her, cupping her by the back as he pulled her close.

"You weren't going to tell me there was a house party?" Y/N raised an eyebrow. Kawaki shrugged.

"I wasn't going to go." He assured her. "But he kept bugging me and I needed to come out and see you. So I decided last minute I'll go for an hour and come back." He quieted her down. "Hey, calm down babe." He leaned over, kissing her cheek. "You look like you've seen a ghost." Y/N shook her head to clear it. She was just being paranoid, she thought to herself.

"I thought I did have you all to myself tonight. It's okay." she waved him off. "I'll be good, just me and the kids." She said. She didn't like this feeling in her chest. It was making her stomach churn, an upset feeling in her stomach. Kawaki wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into an embrace.

"Babe, it's a stupid house party. It's a bunch of stupid people drinking and laying around." Y/N raised an eyebrow. "I'm gonna stop by and go, that's it." Y/N nodded. "You wanna come with me? I was gonna tell you after the kids went to bed." He muttered.

Y/N shook her head no. "I don't feel good." She admitted. Kawaki looked up at the bottle. "Really, I'm fine." She assured him.

"So you don't feel good, but you're going to drink?" Kawaki raised an eyebrow at her. "You're upset about something." Y/N shook her head no. "Do you want me to stay?" She did, she wanted to outright say it. "I'll stay here if you want me to. We'll stay in bed and makeout." He leaned over, a teasing smirk on her face. "Maybe we pop the bottle, watch a movie?" Y/N wanted to say yes.

But she didn't want to be controlling. If she didn't let him go, it would show to herself that she didn't trust him. Y/N wanted to trust him, and it wasn't that she didn't. It was that she knew that Sarada wanted him. It was pissing her off greatly. "No it's fine." Y/N said softly. "Go and have fun." She smiled at him.

"Well, I have a few hours anyway." He looked disappointed, but fixed his face quickly. "I say we get the kids to bed early." He looked over his shoulder in time to see Masaru backflip off the couch. "Especially that baby, he's been acting up since you left." Kawaki chuckled. Y/N sighed, smiling big as she walked in the living room.
