Chapter 57

"Hurry this up." Sasuke slammed his fist against the ice wall. The Queen chuckled.

"You're so cute, Mr. Uchiha." She said with a chuckle, her hand against the wall.

"There's children at danger and you want to chit chat? You're lucky there's a wall here." Sasuke chuckled, slapping the ice. "If I had just brought Sakura I would have had this down, and I would have slit your throat."
He looked at her challengingly. She smirked.

"Lucky for me then, I'd say." The Queen chuckled lightly as Sasuke visibly fumed.

Shino held up a hand, trying to be a pacemaker. "What would you like from us?"

"I'll withdraw my army from your village. Except I'll agree to bring the children alive with Y/N." The Queen looked at the dark water. "Well any that are still alive." Sasuke glowered at her. Lee looked disgusted.

"We will not force Y/N to go anywhere she doesn't want to." Shino said, his eyes darting to look at the empty river. They were wasting time. "Forcing her is out of the question."

"She and the remaining children will be lavishly spoiled. My daughter has grown into a fine woman." The Queen said warmly.

"Shut up!" Sasuke huffed, crossing his arms. "I'm not discussing this. Even if she wanted to go, I wouldn't allow it. Not that she would." Sasuke sucked his teeth.

"And why not?" The queen huffed, tapping her foot angrily. "She had no marriage and no real meaning to life. She has nothing here. She can rule the entire clan at home."

"Fuck that! She belongs to me!.." Shino and Lee looked at him. "I mean us!" Sasuke corrected himself. The two nodded, looking away. "This is her home. Her family you're trying to destroy!" Sasuke insisted. "I'll kill the rest of your pathetic clan before I let that happen."

"Aww." She said sweetly. "I'm just trying to negotiate Uchiha. You act as if I'm taking your family away. I didn't know you still cared so much."

Sasuke glared. "Drop this wall."

"After I talk to Y/N. I'll offer her the same deal." The Queen smiled, crossing her arms. "By the time we're done, the children will be near death by hypothermia." She said naturally, just as one would speak of the weather. "I know how she thinks, just like that fool." She giggled. "Her father was a merciless tool as well. His hesitation is what killed him."

"I promise you, on my family name." Sasuke took a deep breath, his hands clasped together. "I will behead you, and drag Y/N back to the village whether she likes it or not." Sasuke said, surprisingly calm. "Y/N isn't leaving, no matter how you try and trick her."

"It's not a trick." She giggled with a shrug. "We have hostages and we have her children. I'll promise to save them if she comes with us." She shrugged lightly. Sasuke glowered at her.

"Just remember what I said." Sasuke turned his back on her, his cloak billowing. Shino cleared his throat.

"If we have one more person, we can open up the barrier. Who knows how long that'll take. The children are in danger the longer we wait." The men started walking away.

"Is there something you want?" The Queen said dramatically. "Anything to give me what I want easily?" Sasuke ignored her, nodding to Shino as they walked away. "Money, love, fertility?" The Queen murmured.

Sasuke stopped, his back tense. He shook his head and started to move forward. "You're a liar." He called back, annoyed.

"I'm not. My daughter is a great example.  Y/N cannot have children, and I can restore that." The Queen eagerly smiled as Sasuke spun around to face her. "Now i've got your attention."
