Ko looked up at Y/N with a tired look on her face as she was reading from a book. Y/N was concentrated, reading the novel she was currently reading aloud. "And then what happened?" Ko asked sleepily, her eyes wide as she clutched the stuffed animal she was holding tightly. The boys rolled their eyes from their positions in bed.

"Why did we let her pick the story, again?" Jataro said dryly, Ko slapping him hard on the shoulder. "Ow!" He complained, pushing her lightly. Y/N ignored them, reading the passage with a passionate look on her face.

"Mommy and me love romance books." She squealed, cupping her cheeks. The boys looked annoyed. "Romeo and Juliet is like the oldest but cutest!" She kicked excitedly, Y/N laughing with a nod.

"She got to pick the story because she passed the exam flawlessly." Kawaki stuck his head in, listening.

"Thank you again for the book, Kawaki-Senpai!" Ko clapped excitedly. Kawaki shook his head, smiling lightly.

"That was your mother's book." He pointed. "I just kept it." The kids looked at Y/N in surprise, Y/N nodding with a smile. She turned the worn pages, showing them the name on the front page cover.

"Wow!" Ko gasped, touching the cursive signature. "This is a really old book." She exclaimed. Y/N snorted, shaking her head.

"How old do you think I am, squirt?" Y/N snorted. "He's only had it for like five months in his time." Y/N snickered. "And it's only two years for me." She pushed the girl lightly, Ko snorting. "You take really good care of my things." She directed it to Kawaki. He nodded.

"I have a few more than a random book you enjoyed." He murmured. "Everything you left I saved." He shrugged lightly.

"Good for nostalgia." Y/N said slowly, turning the page. She blushed, slamming in shut. "You didn't read this, did you?" She questioned over her shoulder.

"I read the diary you left." He shrugged lightly, Y/N's jaw dropping. "You left it in my room last time."

"You're joking." She blinked. "There's no way." She repeated. Kawaki looked at her expectantly. "Fucking men." She made a face, rolling her eyes.

"HA!" Nagi pointed at her, laughing hard. "Who keeps a diary at that age anyway?" Y/N scowled, rolling her eyes.

"I was lonely!" Y/N threw her hands up, annoyed. "I like to vent a lot."

"Oh you did." Kawaki nodded with her. "Alot." He added. "I need to go find that diary, it was funny." He added, leaving the room.

"You better not!" Y/N shot over her shoulder. "I used to write about boys and gross girl things, and being bullied." Y/N whispered to the kids.

"You got bullied?" Jataro raised an eyebrow. "I thought you were the popular kid." He looked at her pointedly.

"Me?" Y/N snorted. "No one would look at me besides Sasuke and Naruto. Sakura used to bully me because Sasuke and I were really close." Y/N pouted suddenly. "Well, I was a crybaby too." She added. "My mom and I never got along no matter what age I was." She sighed. "It was hard to get over." Y/N shrugged.

"When did you?" Nagi asked. Y/N frowned, looking back at the empty doorway. "Oh really, mom?" Nagi snickered at her.

"Don't tell Papa." She shushed them. "But the reason me and my mom had a falling out, isn't because of the village." She covered her mouth, whispering. "She's the reason he and I stopped talking." She pointed to the doorway.

"I can feel you talking about me." Kawaki called from afar. Y/N rolled her eyes. "Isn't it time for bed?" He called. Y/N rolled her eyes.

"It's so early." Masaru whined. "I want to watch cartoons. We did our stupid training together." He grunted, crossing his arms.
