Naruto x Reader x Sasuke Affair

Chapter 149

    Y/N's eyes twitched as she sat at dinner with Naruto and Sasuke. She was slowly stirring her soup with one hand, her eyes trained on the table as Naruto and Sasuke talked to each other in the restaurant. "No, no sign." Naruto confirmed aloud, Y/N tuning back in slightly as Sasuke spoke back.

    "Alright, just keep me updated. Maybe it was an animal." Sasuke muttered. "Better to be safe than sorry. What else?" Sasuke asked him, his chin propped up in his hand.

    "What are you talking about?" She asked, her head tilted as she ate her soup a little, testing the hot liquid. "What was just an animal?"

    "We think a Ninja Pet went rouge and attacked a neighboring farm." Naruto said lightly. "It's nothing important, I'm just updating Sasuke on the different updates in the village. The storm knocked out a power grid, but we got it up and running." Naruto smiled slightly. "The guys work around the clock." Sasuke nodded.

    "What about the Otsutsuki?" Y/N asked, Naruto shooting her a silent glare as Sasuke looked at her. "Any updates on that?" As Sasuke looked back to Naruto, the man went silent again. "Any sign of them?" Naruto scratched the back of his head, a hesitating look on his face.

    "I'm curious too." Sasuke muttered. "Do I need to go back out there?" Naruto shook his head.

    "No, stay home you deserve it." Naruto assured him. "No perimeter isn't safe, I assure you. My son was on guard duty with his friends last night." He explained to Y/N, Y/N nodding. "Nobody is getting into or out of this village without me knowing." Naruto assured them.

    "Yeah, but are there reports of the Otsutsuki closing in?" Sasuke asked him. "I'd rather be prepared. He muttered. "And of course keep the others safe."

    "No, no. They've been quiet." Naruto assured him.

    "Yeah, because they're probably not interested in attacking us." Y/N rolled her eyes, eating more of her soup. Naruto shot her a sharp look, Sasuke laughing.

    "That's funny. Those scum are probably just laying low, waiting for us to turn our backs." Sasuke  muttered, rolling his eyes. "Y/N, we really didn't get a chance to talk about it. Did you hear about their plans?" Sasuke asked her, Y/N shaking her head no. "Nothing, perhaps what they were planning on doing?"

    "No, not really." Y/N muttered, eating from her thick salad now, her eyes widening at the amount of ranch and delicious croutons on it. "They didn't really include me in stuff like that." She muttered.

    "Then what were you doing?" Sasuke asked her. "Were you washing clothes all day? Tied to a jail cell? You never told me what happened."

    "Sasuke, she doesn't want to talk about it." Naruto shushed him. "Don't cause a scene here." Naruto, Y/N, and Sasuke were sitting in the VIP section in the back of the fanciest restaurant Y/N had ever been to. They were in a private booth, Y/N sitting alone as she faced the guys. "Y/N was traumatized."

    "Tsk. Not really." Y/N muttered darkly, eating more of her food. "We were kept in beautiful rooms, giving television, and were fed and watered a plenty." Sasuke raised an eyebrow at her. "It was nice there." She said with a shrug, Naruto scowling at her.

    "So wait, you weren't torture?" Sasuke asked her, prying again as she clenched one of her fists in her lap. "You weren't held against your will?"

    "We were, but we were treated like royalty." Y/N muttered. "The kids went to school, made friends, normal stuff like that." Sasuke nodded. "Why are you getting mad?" She muttered.

    "I'm not!" Sasuke huffed. "Just sounded like you liked it there." Sasuke said dryly. "What's wrong? You've had an attitude this entire time."
