The sun had already dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the NCT dormitory. The day had been filled with rehearsals, interviews, and a whirlwind of activities that left the members exhausted but oddly exhilarated. Now, with the night settling in, they found themselves gathered in the living room, laughter and chatter filling the air. But there was an undercurrent of tension that lingered, unspoken yet palpable.

Jaehyun and Sicheng sat side by side on the couch, the space between them a reflection of the invisible barrier that had formed between their hearts. Despite the camaraderie that flowed among the NCT members, there was a struggle that was unique to them - a language barrier that seemed to widen with each passing day.

It wasn't just about words left unspoken; it was the intricate dance of emotions, thoughts, and unshared stories that remained trapped within. They had always been drawn to each other, finding solace in the quiet moments they shared. But as the group dynamic shifted and their responsibilities grew, the chasm between their hearts began to deepen. The laughter and banter of their fellow members echoed through the dorm, a stark contrast to the silence that had settled between Jaehyun and Sicheng. It was as if the universe had conspired to test the strength of their connection, to see if the bond they had built could withstand the weight of unexpressed sentiments.

Sicheng stole a sidelong glance at Jaehyun, his heart aching at the thought of the growing divide. He traced the curve of his lips, a smile that had once been their secret language, but now felt distant and unfamiliar. There was so much he wanted to say, so many feelings he longed to convey, but the words remained trapped within the confines of a language that felt foreign.

Beside him, Jaehyun's fingers twitched slightly, as if mirroring the restlessness in his heart. He watched the others engage in animated conversations, his eyes occasionally meeting Sicheng's before quickly looking away. He was well-versed in expressing himself through his actions, but he knew that sometimes actions alone weren't enough.

"Alright, guys, let's play a game!" Mark's voice cut through the room, breaking the heaviness that had settled over the group. The suggestion was met with enthusiastic cheers, a unanimous agreement that a game was exactly what they needed to unwind.

"Beat NCT!" Taeyong exclaimed, clapping his hands together. "It's been a while since we played that one."

The members settled into their spots, forming two teams. The rules were simple: one member would pick a word, and the rest of the team had to guess it based on the actions of the person trying to convey it. It was a game that relied on nonverbal communication, and usually, the NCT members were quite adept at it.

Tonight, however, seemed to be an exception.

The game started off with excitement, but as the rounds went on, a strange trend emerged - Jaehyun and Sicheng, who usually made a seamless team, were struggling. Jaehyun's attempts to convey words with his body were met with puzzled looks and tentative guesses from the rest of the group. It was as if his once eloquent movements had lost their ability to communicate effectively.

Sicheng's frustration grew with each failed attempt. He shot Jaehyun an exasperated look, his brows furrowing as he tried to make sense of his lover's actions. The tension in the air grew thicker, and the room seemed to constrict around them.
