Entry 1050
Monday 12th August 2019A quiet day.
I had the day off from work and spent it with Nikki. We did a bit of shopping in the centre of Sandown, we bought me a few more clothes, and Nikki got some other bits of food so she could experiment more with her chicken pie recipe. I noticed there was nowhere near as much meat on offer in Sainsbury's. I didn't say anything, but it worried me a bit. Part of me could understand why whoever stole the two cows, did so.
I felt a bit guilty for not seeing Leo today, but I'll see him tomorrow. I was just glad that me and Nikki could spend some alone adult time together without arguing. I was thinking of asking Nikki why she gave me a funny look when Natasha smiled at me yesterday, but I was convinced an argument would follow and I didn't want that, so I kept my mouth shut and focused on enjoying the day together.
Nikki has another counselling session tomorrow, I go back to work, and I'll see Leo and the others in Cowes.
All in all, a nice, quiet, and rather enjoyable day today.
