Entry 1061
Friday 23rd August 2019Me and Nikki are over! The woman is a f*cking demented psycho!
Whilst Mum was looking after Leo, I went to see Mike and Sci-Fi Cyn in Cowes. We had a catch up over a cuppa in Sails Café and talked about all of the recent ups and down and goings on, and then I came home.
When I walked back into the house Mum and Leo weren't in the living room. I frowned with confusion and called upstairs to see if they were there. I could hear Leo making a noise, so I hung up my coat and went upstairs to find both Mum and Leo in mine and Nikki's bedroom. Leo was sat on the bed playing with a toy and to my outrage, Mum was rifling through Nikki's bedside drawers. "What the Hell are you doing?" I snapped, "That's Nikki's private stuff. You can't go through that." "Look," said Mum, turning round with a stern look on her face, and handing me a small diary. "Mum, is that Nikki's diary?" I said, "Jesus, you're a nosey cow. You've really crossed a line this time." "Read it!" exclaimed Mum, "It's not a diary. It's a note book. Just read it." I rolled my eyes, took the small note book off Mum and started scanning the pages. My eyes widened, my jaw dropped open, and a shiver ran down my spine when I read what was written on the paper; plans. Lots of plans and lists detailing all of the things Nikki was planning on doing to make out I was a perpetrator and she was a victim. There were pages containing dates and times of things that happened, detailing all of the lies Nikki had told and all of the lies she was planning on telling. She'd written a paragraph on how she was going to destroy Naomi by convincing everyone that she's violent. She wrote how she lied to me about Naomi originally attacking her, and she even had pages detailing how to fake injuries using make-up. I couldn't believe what I was reading. My shock increased when I came to pages that highlighted how she admitting faking being kidnapped, and how she faked all of the nasty threatening letters. I was flabbergasted. The note book detailed how, when we all thought Nikki had been kidnapped, she was actually holed up in a small one bedroomed flat above a boarded-up shop on Station Avenue not far from the abandoned Sandown Railway Station. I knew Nikki was a bit hot-headed, but this was something else. It felt like my whole life had been turned upside down, and that I was living with a stranger. After reading a few pages, I looked up at Mum, who could see the horror plastered across my face. She handed me a few sheets of paper. "Here," she said, "I found these too. Threatening notes that she put together. She was probably going to send these to herself and make out that someone's after her." I read through the notes; 'WE ARE WATHCING YOU,' 'WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU,' 'WE'RE GOING TO KILL YOU,' 'WATCH YOUR BACK B*TCH,' 'WE'LL GET YOU AND THAT BRAT BABY SON OF YOUR'S.' The cold shiver down my back intensified and I became consumed with anger. "Brat baby?" I said, "F*CKING BRAT BABY SON! I'm going to kill her!" "Sausage," said Mum, standing up and putting her hands on my shoulders, "I know you're angry. I am too, but we need to think smart. Now, let's go downstairs, have a cup of tea, and we can talk about what we're going to do."
I felt absolutely horrified. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. This little book was full of pages detailing all of the lies that Nikki had told, and all of the lies she was planning. Today's date was written on a page and underneath the date was a load of writing saying she would come home and make out that she had been kidnapped by someone who hates me, in an attempt to make me feel guilty. This was bad enough, but seeing her faking letters that threatened Leo really boiled by blood. I was sat on the sofa looking through the letters and flicking the pages of the note book whilst Mum was in the kitchen with Leo, and as I continued to read through the dossier of lies and deceit, the front door opened, slammed shut, and I quickly hid the letters and the note book under a cushion. I turned round to find Nikki stood in the doorway of the living room with scruffy hair, grubby clothes and dirt on her face. She looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards and she appeared distressed. I wasn't buying this. I adopted a blunt expression as I knew full well this all part of her performance. "Where have you been then?" I said in a cold tone as I stood and faced Nikki. "What do you mean, where have I been!?" Nikki exclaimed, as she walked into the middle of the living room, "Look at me! That nutter who kidnaped me before, kidnapped me again! It was horrible. He said he was getting revenge for something you did. Luke, it was horrible." "Was it?" I said, sounding disinterested. I discreetly looked over Nikki's shoulder and saw Mum peering through the gap between the kitchen door and the doorframe. I discreetly shook my head signalling that she should stay there and keep an eye on the situation as I dealt with it. "Yes, it f*cking was!" Nikki loudly snapped, "What the Hell is wrong with you!? You sound like you don't care." "Oh, you're right," I sarcastically said, "Aren't I a terrible boyfriend. Not caring that my girlfriend has been kidnapped. I mean, it's bad enough for it to happen once isn't it, but for it to happen twice, I mean that's a rotten bit of bad luck isn't it? Anyone would think you've made the whole thing up." "Sorry?" snapped Nikki, "But are you saying I've made all of this up? Are you saying I've lied about being kidnapped!? Is that what you're saying?! I mean, what do you think I am? Some sort of psycho!?" "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THINK YOU ARE!" I angrily shouted, as I picked up the threatening letters from under the cushion and threw them all at Nikki. Her face was a sight! She had been well and truly rumbled, and the brief expression of guilt on her face made it obvious that she knew she had been caught out. "Where have you been?" I snapped, picking up the note book and flicking and through the pages, "Station Avenue and that one bedroomed flat you've got that I didn't know about!?" Nikki's guilty expression was quickly replaced with more lies and manipulation. "What are you talking about?" she said, as she picked up all the letters off the floor, "What are all these? What's this Station Avenue you're going on about? These look like the threatening notes I was getting before, and what's that book in your hand?" "Oh, don't start," I said, "You've been caught out. Just admit it." Nikki looked over on the armchair and saw Mum's coat. "That's your Mum's coat, isn't it?" she said, "Has she been round here?!" "She's been staying here," I said, "She's just gone to the beach with Leo." I thought that lying at this point was a good idea, as I thought that I might be able to get Nikki to show her true colours without her knowing Mum was in the kitchen listening. "Well, it's obvious what's going on here, isn't it?" said Nikki, "Your Mum has planted all this sh*t in my bedside drawer to frame me, and make me look like some sort of unhinged lying nutter." "You are an unhinged lying nutter!" I shouted, "Hang on... Wait a minute... I never said all of this was in your bedside drawer." "Yes, but I can imagine it's the sort of place where your mental Mum would plant that sort of stuff," said Nikki. "Sorry!?" I said, "Let me get this right. You're saying that my Mum has faked all of these threatening letters, and gone to the lengths of filling in nearly all of the pages of this note book, just to make you look like a liar. Do you expect me to believe that?" "Luke, I am your girlfriend, I expect you to believe everything I say," said Nikki. "But look," I snapped, pointing at the page that had today's date written on it, detailing how she was going to come back and say she was kidnapped, "Look at this; Friday 23rd August – come home and tell Luke I was kidnapped by someone who is trying to get revenge on him to make him feel guilty. That's literally what's just happened. If Mum wrote this like you say she did then she has got some seriously impressive psychic powers." Nikki looked awkward and uncomfortable. "Nothing to say?" I asked, "What did you do? Mess your hair up, chuck dirt on yourself and throw yourself in some bushes to make it look like you've been roughed up and kidnapped. You're the biggest liar I've ever met." "Luke, I am NOT a liar," snapped Nikki. "OK," I said, pointing at the page that detailed the address of Nikki's one-bedroomed flat, "Let's go to see this flat then. Let's go to Station Avenue and have a look around. If you're telling the truth and this note book is full of lies concocted by my own Mother – which it obviously isn't, let's go and see this flat. Actually..." I approached Nikki after realising that she might have the keys to the flat on her. I shoved my hand into her jeans. She wriggled and told me to get off her, but I was overcome with anger and determination. "Just shut up and hold still," I snapped. I retrieved a small set of keys from Nikki's pocket and on them was the number two, the same number of the one-bedroomed flat. "There," I said, dangling the keys in front of Nikki's face, "Got you." "Well, it's all your fault!" Nikki loudly snapped, pushing me hard in the chest, "You don't give me any love or attention. You make me feel like sh*t! You just stood there and watched Naomi beat me up in that café." "No, I didn't," I exclaimed, "I tried to stop you both from fighting, but you pushed me away. I am NOT going to stand here and be blamed for what you've done." "What I'VE done!?" exclaimed Nikki, "You're the one that's lied to me. You lied about working at The Hive, you lied about seeing Mike and Cyn, and even lied about loving me." "That's because you're a f*cking mentalist who starts throwing plates at my head when you hear stuff you don't like!" I yelled. "If you weren't such a liar, I wouldn't get angry all the time!" Nikki snapped. "F*ck off!" I loudly snapped back, "I'm not going to take lectures from you on lying. You make Pinocchio look like a f*cking saint. I know you haven't been having your counselling sessions, I know you told her that it's ME not you, who needs counselling, and I know all about what went on with you and Richard T. It was you who was beating him up." "Luke, he's lying," said Nikki, "You can't believe a word he says." "He's shown me the scars!" I loudly exclaimed, "Pouring boiling hot water all over him. I know the man's a sadist, but f*cking Hell Nikki, there's something seriously wrong with you!" "NO!" Nikki loudly snapped, "There's something seriously wrong with you! Why can't you be a proper man and make me feel good about myself. Why can't you love me and care about me like a boyfriend should. I wouldn't have kicked off if you weren't such a stupid idiot. You need to stop making out I'm the one who has issues, when we all know it's you." I was astounded at Nikki's attitude. I quickly found the threatening note that mentioned Leo, and aggressively waved it in Nikki's face. "I'M the one with issues!?" I exclaimed, "Look at this! You wrote this! WE'LL GET YOU AND THAT BRAT BABY SON OF YOUR'S. That's proper sick. Don't stand there and tell me I'm the one with issues. It's you! You're off your f*cking head! I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it!?" "I wouldn't have had to write all those threating letters if you made me feel special and loved!" shouted Nikki, "Luke, I have had a hard life and I feel really insecure and worthless." Nikki then started crying, but I wasn't falling for it. "Oh, you can knock that sh*t off," I said, "Turning on the tears. Playing the victim just like you did when you faked those injuries. Just like you did when you took that overdose in front of me. Well, not this time. You don't get to play the victim when you're writing sh*tty letters like this about my son. You are not a victim, Nikki." Fury appeared on Nikki's face. She quickly picked up a small vase that was on the sideboard, and she was about to smash it into my face, but overcome with determination, I lunged forward, quickly grabbed the vase out of Nikki's hand and threw it on the sofa. "NO!" I angrily snapped, "No! I'm not putting up with this sh*t anymore. This is why Leo isn't here, this is why you're a perpetrator, not a victim. You've lied to me, you've manipulated me, you've controlled me and you've physically assaulted me... And I reckon you've tried to poison me." "What!?" exclaimed Nikki. "That's why I was in bed all hot and sweaty the other day," I said, "I ate your chicken pie and it made me ill." "You think I poisoned you!?" exclaimed Nikki, "You're crazy. I haven't poisoned you. You weren't in bed because you were ill. You were in bed because you were shagging Cyn, Natasha and Naomi." "Nikki, I don't care what you think anymore," I said, "I really don't. If you want to believe I was having a big sex party with Naomi, Natasha and Cyn. Fine. Knock yourself out, but me and you are over." "No!" snapped Nikki, in a rather stroppy manner as she stamped her foot, "No! You're not doing this! You don't get to treat me like this." "You aren't in any position to tell ME how I get to treat YOU," I said, "God, the stuff I have done to support you and keep you happy." "YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO KEEP ME HAPPY!" yelled Nikki. "YES, I F*CKING HAVE!" I yelled back, "I stood up for you when all of my mates were slagging you off. I stopped speaking to Naomi and my own Auntie to keep you happy. I continued to work at The Hive even though I didn't like it. I didn't kick up a fuss when you were slagging me off, putting me down and kicking the sh*t out of me. I even kept my mouth shut when you said you wanted to keep that vicious cat of yours, even though I hate it, even though it hates me, even though it hisses at me, and even though it scratches me every f*cking five minutes!" What happened next REALLY shocked me. Minnie the cat was sat on the arm of the sofa. Nikki quickly picked her up by the scruff of the neck, gripped her head with her right hand, grabbed her neck with her left hand and violently twisted the cat's head, snapping it's neck and killing it instantly. I jumped back in absolute horror. If I was in any doubt before about Nikki being mental, I was in absolutely no doubt now. "THERE!" screamed Nikki, waving the dead, floppy cat in front of me, "THERE! SHE'S DEAD! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!? DOES THAT SATISFY YOU!" My eyes were as wide as they could be, and my mouth was also wide open. I felt scared, but I also felt shocked. Completely shocked. "You, are off your f*cking head!" I gasped. "AM I!!!?" screamed a hysterical Nikki with a crazed look on her face, "IS THAT WHAT I AM!? OFF MY HEAD!? WELL, IF I'M OFF MY HEAD THAT'S HOW I'D BETTER ACT THEN ISN'T IT!?" Nikki walked into the hallway and prepared herself. It was like she was trying to get a good run up to something. I had no idea what she was doing. Then all of a sudden, she ran towards the fireplace as fast as she could back into the living room, towards the fire place and aggressively crashed her face into the mirror that was hanging above the mantelpiece. The mirror smashed into pieces and Nikki fell to the floor. "WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING!!?" I loudly exclaimed. I ran over to Nikki and scooped her up off the floor. She had multiple cuts on her face. She looked at me with a smug grin on her face as blood tricked out of her cuts and down her face. "You'll pay," said Nikki, "Just wait. Wait until I tell people that you hit me and smashed my face into the mirror. Wait until I tell them what a monster you are. Who do you think people will believe? A man like you, or a woman like me who's covered in cuts and bruises?" I gave Nikki a shocked and dismayed stare. I couldn't believe the depths she was prepared to sink to. I slowly stood up and looked at Nikki in shock and disgust, just as Mum walked into the living room. "No one is going to believe a woman like you," said Mum. Nikki looked shocked to see Mum there, and whilst Mum's been getting on my nerves, I was so glad that she was there. "I heard everything," said Mum, "Every single word. If you tell any lies about my son or touch him ever again, I'm going to take that bl**dy dead cat and shove up your b*stard arse." A tense since followed which was suddenly broken when Nikki picked up a shard of glass, and was just about to start slashing her wrists with it when Mum ran towards her and kicked the shard of glass out of her hand. "Knock it off, you silly cow," said Mum, "If you want to kill yourself, go for it. Just do it, when we've gone. I haven't got any time for all this attention seeking victim playing sh*t. Luke, pack your things and get Leo. You're coming back to Cowes with me." "Leo's here!?" said Nikki. "Yes, he is," said Mum, "He's in the kitchen and you're not going anywhere near him."
