Entry 1102
Thursday 3rd October 2019Naomi and I had a bit of an argument today. In fact, it was a rather heated row. Our first proper argument as a couple, and guess who it was about... Yes... That b*tch Nikki.
As soon as I woke up this morning, it was obvious Naomi was in a bit of a mood with me. She gave me one-word answers and was being rather blunt and dismissive. I tried to be all happy and cheery but she just wasn't responding.
Ash looked after Sophie as Naomi and I walked into the centre of Cowes, got some milk from Sainsbury's and then made our way back to hers. "Naomi," I said, "What's wrong?" "What do you mean?" asked Naomi. "Oh, come on," I said, "You've been giving me the shoulder ever since I got here from Sandown yesterday. Is there something on your mind?" Naomi sighed and looked uncomfortable. "Come on," I said, "It's not like you to hold back. If you've got something to say then say it." "Oh, Luke, I don't know," said Naomi, "One minute we're taking things slow and before I know it you've moved in with me." "Well, you said I could move in," I said. "No, Ash said you could move in," said Naomi. "Oh..." I said, "So don't you want me to move in?" "We said we'd take things slowly," said Naomi. "Yeah, but I needed somewhere to stay," I said. "You could have stayed with your Mum and Meryl," said Naomi. "You're sounding like you don't want me around," I said. "No, it's not that," said Naomi, "I just think moving in is a bit fast." "Well, I haven't really moved in, have I?" I said, "I stayed one night. All my stuff is still in Sandown. If you want, I can move back in with Mum and Auntie Meryl. Is that what you want?" "Oh, I don't know," said Naomi. "Are you having doubts about us?" I asked. "No," Naomi quickly said, "Maybe. Oh, I don't know." "What do you mean maybe?" I exclaimed, as we carried on walking down the street back to Naomi's and Ash's. "Luke, you just walked away from the mother of your unborn child!" Naomi snapped, "I don't know how you could do that! That's not the sort of person I thought you were!" "And what sort of person did you think I was exactly?" I asked, "Someone who stays with a woman and lets her throw sh*t at me because she's pregnant with my kid!? Be fair Naomi, you know what a f*cking nightmare she is!" "She's still carrying your baby," said Naomi. "So!?" I exclaimed. "What do you mean, so!?" snapped Naomi, "Do you just want to be another one of those Dad's that doesn't give a toss about his kids? What will you do when that kid becomes a teenager and comes looking for you, asking why you weren't around?" "I'll tell him the truth," I said, "That his Mother was a bat sh*t crazy lunatic that went around strangling cats and chucking herself down stairs." "Oh?" said Naomi, "So that makes it all OK does it? You'll tell your kid that because you couldn't handle his Mum, you walked away and abandoned him? God, Luke, it's not his fault his Mum's a nutter." "It's not my fault, either," I said, "Have you forgotten what a lunatic Nikki is?" "No," said Naomi, "And I get that you'd want to move out, and I get that you might want to move in with me, but to turn around and say that you want NOTHING to do with your child. Sorry I think that's just awful. I think you need to tell Nikki that you won't be living with her, but that you still want to be a Dad to her baby, and I think me and you need to go back to taking things slowly." "Taking things slowly?" I said, "We haven't even had sex yet. How much slower do you want to go?" "You what?" snapped Naomi. "Look," I said, "I didn't mean..." "Oh, I know what you mean," snapped an angry Naomi, "You're more bothered about shagging me than you are to being a Dad to Nikki's kid? When did you become such a pr*ck?" "Excuse me!?" I snapped, "I left Sandown so I could be with you." "I don't want to be the reason you abandon your baby," snapped Naomi, "You know I'd give anything to turn back time and change everything that happened with Courtney, and here you are knowing that Nikki's carrying your baby and you've just walked away. I don't see how you can do that and sleep at night!? Jesus Christ Luke, this is your baby. Your child. You need to be there. You can't just abandon it because Nikki's hard work." "No offence Naomi," I bluntly said, "But I'm not going to take advice from someone who had her own daughter taken away." Naomi stopped walking, froze to the spot, and gave me a shocked and angry look. I could tell I'd crossed a line. "No," I said sounding panicked and feeling flustered, "I didn't mean that. I..." "No, you're right," said an angry and sarcastic Naomi, "What do I know eh? I've never given birth to a baby and brought her up from that point, have I?" "I didn't mean that," I said, "I..." "Oh, I know what you meant," snapped Naomi, as she carried on walking back to hers and Ash's, "You know you're just as bad as Nikki." "That's not fair," I snapped, as I followed Naomi, "I'm nothing like Nikki." "Really?" snapped Naomi, "Childish. Petty. Thoughtless. Sounds similar to me. You know, all you seem to do is think about yourself. You were like this when Kyle was playing up. It was all about you. You're so self-obsessed." "I am NOT self-obsessed," I angrily said as we approached Naomi's front door. "You are," said Naomi, as she put the key in the door, "If we moved in together properly, you'd probably decorate the room with pictures of you." "That's ridiculous," I said. Naomi turned the key, opened the door, and we walked into the house and entered the living room and I was shocked at what I saw. Naomi and I froze to the spot and looked at the shocking and odd sight before us with surprise and dismay on our faces. The living room was crammed with dozens of canvases each one with paintings of me naked on them. They were all the paintings from when I posed naked for Angela's art class. The timing was terrible and the living room looked like some sort of weird art exhibition dedicated my naked body. Naomi turned and gave me a blunt look. "Don't look at me like that," I said, "This has nothing to do with me." Ash appeared from the kitchen and said that Mike had heard I was staying over and that he'd arranged for all of the canvases to be brought round to help me settle in. "I'll go and have a word with him," I said. "Might be a good idea to stay over at his too," said Naomi, "Or at your Mum's." "Fine," I bluntly said. Feeling p*ssed off and rather upset I left and went round to Mike's.
When I arrived at Mike's, I found that everyone was in, Mike, TJ, Trudy and Primark. "Hiya babes!" an excited Mike said, as he answered the door and flung his arms around me, "How are you doing? Come in. I'll put the kettle on. Did you get the canvases?" "Yes," I angrily said, as I walked into the living room, and saw TJ, Trudy and Primark, "What the Hell were you playing at? I don't want a load of paintings of me, naked chucked all over the place." "Don't you like the one I did of you?" asked TJ, "We all know you've got a great big vagina now don't we?" "Shut up, TJ," I said, "I don't have a vagina." "TJ picked up the little tape recorder that he used to record my voice at the art class. He pressed play and my voice emanated from the device. "I've got a vagina!" my voice said. TJ giggled. "Very funny," I bluntly said, "Mike, get round to Naomi's and move those canvases. Take them back to the community centre." "So, how's it going with you and She-Ra?" asked TJ, "Chucked one up her yet?" "God, you're disgusting," I said. "Ah, you haven't, have you?" said a smug TJ, "That's why you've got a face like a slapped m*nge. Tip for you, Elizabeth, when you're giving her a good f*ck, try and your put your balls in too. She likes that. Makes her moan like a b*tch, and the good thing is that she'll think your c*ck is bigger than it actually is. Mind you, we all saw your little pecker on show in that art class, didn't we?" "TJ, f*ck off," I bluntly said, "Mike. Shift the paintings."
I'm at Mum and Auntie Meryl's now. I'm staying here tonight. It's nice to be close to Leo and spend time with him. "So, you've ballsed it up, already haven't you?" Mum said, referring to my relationship with Naomi, after I told her and Auntie Meryl about the row. "No, I haven't," I snapped, as I continued fussing over Leo, "It's just a bit of a row." "I've told you before sausage," said Mum, "Stunner's like Naomi don't go for plain blokes like you. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." "Has someone given you a horse?" Auntie Meryl asked me. "What are you on about?" I asked Auntie Meryl. "Your Mum said you were looking a horse in the mouth that someone had given you as a gift," said Auntie Meryl. "No, that's not what she said," I said. "She bl**dy well did," said Auntie Meryl, "I'm sitting right here. I heard her." "It's a sort of metaphor," I said. "What is?" asked Auntie Meryl. "The horse!" I exclaimed. "It's not a real horse?" asked Auntie Meryl. "No!" I loudly exclaimed, "There is no bl**dy horse!" "So, what were you looking in the mouth of then?" asked Auntie Meryl. "It's a saying!" I loudly said. "You said it was a gift," said Auntie Meryl. "She said it was a gift!" I snapped, pointing at Mum. "So, was it a gift?" asked Auntie Meryl. "Was what a gift?" I asked. "The horse?" said Auntie Meryl. "There is no f*cking horse!" I angrily and impatiently yelled. "Oi," snapped Auntie Meryl, "Don't you swear like that in front of your young lad or I'll tan your backside for you. You should be setting an example, not effing and jeffing all over the place, and I'll tell you this for nothing, if you bring a horse round here you can put it in the back garden." Mum went round to Nikki's and collected my clothes and belongings. She said that Nikki was shouting, screaming and chucking things around the house and smashing the place up like a mad woman as she yelled at Mum and said I was a selfish b*stard. Mum said she just ignored her, didn't give her the attention she clearly wanted, gathered my things and just left. "I did feel like giving her a good slap," said Mum, "But I managed to restrain myself."Mum kept criticising me for messing things up with Naomi. I hate to admit it but I suppose she has a point. I shouldn't have mentioned the comment about us hot having sex in the way I did, and I certainly shouldn't have mentioned Naomi giving Courtney away when she was a baby. That was thoughtless and insensitive of me. I'll see Naomi tomorrow and apologise, but the thing is I don't know what I'm supposed to do? I get that she's not happy about me walking away from Nikki's pregnancy but I just can't be around that psycho b*tch anymore. I thought Naomi would have had more understanding about this. In my head I have accepted that I am not going to be a father to Nikki's baby. I'm sleeping over at Mum's and Auntie Meryl's tonight. Let's see what happens tomorrow. I hope Naomi accepts my apology and we can find a way to move on from this...
