Y/N was unconscious in the hospital wing, with his friends watching as his brother, Thomas L/N and Narcissa worked with Madam Pomfrey to try and save the boys life.

"Stay with us darling." Narcissa said as she patted Y/N's cheek before feeling he was cold. "Get me something to warm him up."

Thomas rushed off and returned with a pepperup potion.

"Come on you stubborn old goat, wake up, it's not your time yet." Thomas said as he looked at Y/N lying lifeless on the bed. "I've lost one sibling... I'm not losing another."

Y/N's eyes opened as he looked at Thomas and then to Narcissa, pulling the woman closer.

"Cissa, Harry's... a... Horcrux..."

Y/N went limp, and that was when they all heard it... the magical heart monitor had flatlined, they looked at the paper that was scrolling as the quill drew a line on it.

"Oh, no, no, no no no! Y/N! NO, NO! NO! Y/N!" Thomas said he shook Y/N trying to wake him.

Hermione watched as blood dripped from the bed Y/N was on.

"Y/N." She and Ginny said in a sobbing whisper as the two Gryffindor girls held hands, Astoria was sobbing into Daphne's side, Daphne wasn't crying, she was in pure shock. Y/N was dead... dead, she didn't know what was happening right now.

Hermione cried out as she fell to her knees with tears streaming down her face while Ginny held her.

Harry was standing there on his knees, mouth open in pure shock at what was happening, Y/N was dead.

Susan Bones was shaking her head, hoping that it was all just a bad dream.

McGonagall was the worst of all, with Severus having to hold the woman back from rushing to her godson.

"Minerva, if there is the slightest chance he comes back, you need to give the healers room to work!" Severus said as he looked at McGonagall.

Hermione looked at Y/N's hand before sobbing to herself standing up and approaching him, she took a hold of Y/N's hand.

"Y-y... you c-c-can... rest... n-n-now... my love." Hermione said as she leaned in and kissed him on the forehead. "Go and run that ranch you've wanted... you're free now."

Hermione broke down into tears as she sobbed, thinking about her boyfriend, the girls's soulmate.

Ginny approached Y/N and Hermione, putting her hand on her girlfriends shoulder.

"We should give the healers the space Hermione." Ginny said as Hermione nodded.

Daphne approached Y/N and put her hand on his heart.

"I never thought I'd have to live up to this promise, but I'm not going to break it. I'll... I'll sing that fucking song, but you had better be where I'm going when I pass."
