First Impressions: (Cover, Blurb, Title)
-The cover is nice and attractive, but the subtitle is a little hard to read.
-The blurb is great, especially for a short story. It provides just the right amount of context and interest without saying it all.
-Title- The title is fitting, it works. But it is also very common.
Mechanics (Grammar, sentence structure)
-There weren't any problems spotted, and the language is eloquent and fits the tone well.
-At the beginning the writing style felt different from the rest of the story
Plot:
-Great story, nicely executed. There was excellent imagery and just the right amount narration to capture the contrast of good and evil.
-Some questions that came up were, Does she know she's an angel? Why does she always end up dating a demon, they seek her out specifically?
-It had a beginning, middle, and end, which is sometimes difficult for the short story genre to accomplish.
-The length was just right and the pacing felt good, with anticipation and action hitting all the right notes.
-It was easy to imagine and follow along with despite the sometimes more challenging vocabulary.
Overall fantastic job. Even with some inconsistencies, it was a great story. Best wishes!
