First Impressions (ex. Cover, blurb, title)

-Title: The title is a fitting title.

-Cover: The cover is nice, but the author's name is cut off a little at the top.

-Blurb: The blurb is fine.

Mechanics (ex. Grammar, sentence structure, etc.)

There aren't a lot of grammar issues.

Plot & Characters

- In chapter one, there are a lot of new characters introduced without explanation as to how they are related to the main character and their role in the story. This also applies to the characters that are introduced later, like in chapter three.

- Chapter four starts off as with the next day, but there is no transition that tells readers that the previous day has ended and it is in fact a new day.

- The emotion in this story is illustrated well.

- When the MC mentioned "my white lurcher ib," it was unclear as to what kind of pet it was- is it a dog? A creature of some sort?
