First Impressions (ex. Cover, blurb, title)

-Title: The title is good.

-Cover: The cover is nice but the font of the title doesn't stand out much against the background and the subtitle is a little overwhelming.

-Blurb: The blurb is fine.

Mechanics (ex. Grammar, sentence structure, etc.)

Besides a couple typos here and there, there are no obvious grammar issues.

Plot & Characters

- There's a certain charm to the narrative voice as well as the characters.

- The prose is a little hard to follow at times because it requires focus to understand what it's saying and there is a lot of exposition and not a lot of action.

- The chapter lengths are good.

- The format of the chapter titles are a bit odd; some have numbers in front and some don't, some have "Chapter X" while some are just the titles themselves.

Though it takes a lot of focus to read (at least for me), the storyline and narrative voice is unique and fun. Best of luck to you in your writing journey!
