First Impressions (ex. Cover, blurb, title)
-Title: The title is fine.
-Cover: The cover is fine, but it is hard to read the text at the very bottom.
-Blurb: The blurb is good but it is very long and wordy. The first four lines after the epigraph seem a little unnecessary.
Mechanics (ex. Grammar, sentence structure, etc.)
- Although this is recognized as a style of writing, there is a lot of complex vocabulary that the average reader would not understand, so it makes it difficult to comprehend what is being said. When readers have to stop at several times per paragraph to search the definition of the word, it makes it hard to comprehend what's going on in the storyline and it's hard to read more than a couple of chapters.
- There are some grammar issues to fix.
Plot & Characters
- The pacing is a little slow.
- There are a lot of characters introduced in Prologue 0.2 that are not explained who they are and how the MC knows them.
- If she was an heir to the throne, why was she in a 'commoner's' hospital?
This seems like an interesting storyline, but it is a bit hard to understand what it is due to the complexity of the language. We wish you the best of luck to you in your writing journey!
