This is a series of one shots from Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4. I do not own any of the characters, of course.
All One Shots are in alphabetical order for your convenience.

"So you're telling me you don't have a last name? Like Tarzan or something?"
Charon frowned as we walked, "Who is Tarzan?"
"A monkey man. That's besides the point. Have you never had a need for your last name? Like... a birth certificate maybe?"
"Those are only Pre-War. No one keeps up with the population anymore."
I waved a hand dismissively, "That's besides the point. Look, what you're saying is that you have no need for a last name. Is that right?"
He sighed, "Haven't had a need for one until now."
"Why's that?"
He clenched his jaw before losing some of the tension in his shoulders and glancing to me, "Because. I don't have a lot, but my last name was really something I would have... liked to have given you."
I blushed, "Like... through marriage?"
"I... Yes. If you don't want that, that's fine, we can do whatever you want, I don't-"
"Well, how about this... We can get married, and you can just take my last name. How about that?"
He smiled, "You mean it?"
"Of course I mean it you tall ass, punk ass, man."
He shook his head, "We're not getting preachers involved."
"Good luck finding any of those around. The only ones are those 'Children of Atom' freaks and I don't want them to unite us like that. We can just get the guys over at... no... they suck too." I grabbed his hand, "Well, that's alright. We can just find some rings in an old jewelry shop or something, then you can kiss me and I can kiss back and that'll be it."
He smirked, liking the idea, "Won't you want a bouquet to throw or something like that?"
I smiled deviously, "How about a bomb?"
"Now I know why I wanted to marry you."
I chuckled, "So... are we engaged now?"
He looked to the ground before staring into my eyes, "We are engaged now."
I wrapped my arm around his, practically hugging him as we walked, "Charon... Where are we headed? Not metaphorically... I literally have no idea where we are."
He frowned, looking down at me, "Hell if I know. I've never been here before. This was just the direction we've been going for a few months now."
I looked around at the tall buildings curiously, one sign saying 'Welcome to Boston' in flamboyant letters. I looked over my shoulder, then forward, "I don't think we're in D.C anymore."
