"Petition to change Kara's cape to a rainbow one for pride." Nia petitioned.
"No. Because then people will know I'm gay." Kara shook her head.
"Kara, people already know you're gay. You flew around cradling Lena and yelled this is my girlfriend, and if you hurt her I will yeet you into the sun." Alex pointed out.
"I had at least fifteen new patients that day." Kelly added to the conversation.
"Can I have a cape too? But with the trans flag?"
"Why would you want a cape?" Lena asked.
"BECAUSE KARA ISN'T THE ONLY QUEER HERO, LENA!" Nia yelled.
"But she is the only one brave enough to fuck a Luthor." Lori interrupted.
"Lorelei-" Lena began to raise her voice.
"She's got a point." Nia sighed.
"That- that was what you needed to hear to decide against your idea?" Lena rolled her eyes.

~Two days later~

"IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT TRANS RIGHTS, SUPERGIRL WILL THROW YOU INTO THE SUN!" Nia yelled as her flag-cape gracefully danced in the breeze.
"SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS OR YOU'RE GOING FOR A FLIGHT!" Kara yelled at people from the sky.
"This wasn't the pride I wanted." Lena sighed.
"You're already booked in for every day for the rest of this month." Kelly checked her schedule.
"Wait. Where's Alex?" Lena looked around.
"I WILL FUCKING END YOU REMOVE THAT STICKER!" Alex yelled at a young kid who tried to take the sticker off their shirt.
"Oh no." Kelly grabber Lena by the arm, "Lets go. I don't want to deal with this."
"Do you want some therapy whiskey?" Lena offered.
Kelly sighed heavily, "Yeah, let's go."

Lori held hands with Cassie, "Welcome to my family."
"I'm not going to lie, I see why Kelly is bordering on alcoholism and cussing." Cassie watched the carnage.
"I love it here!" Lori smiled widely, "Where's Diana?"
"She's trying time get Kara off the roof." Cassie looked up at L-Corp.
"IF YOU THINK BEING GAY IS THE ONLY REASON IM GOING TO HELL, YOU'RE SEVERELY MISTAKEN!" Kara yelled at a guy holding a sign, "I KILLED A MAN."
"Has she?" Cassie asked.
"Probably. Once a month she relies on her heat vision for everything. She's also very unstable for those seven da-"
"LORELEI SAMANTHA DANVERS-LUTHOR! I HEARD THAT YOU LITTLE SHIZ!" Kara glared at her daughter.
"Oh fu-"
"YOU'LL BE STAYING IN METROPOLIS WITH SAM NOW!"
In the distance, Lena's voice could be heard.
"Can I go with her?!"
"NO!" Kara replied, "I NEED YOU FOR SEX!"
"If people didn't know her secret identity, they will now." Cassie pointed out.
"Good thing this chapter isn't actually canon in the Lorelei plot line, otherwise people would be wondering why I'm not in prison."

Happy pride month to all you Kings, Queens and Non-Binary Royals!! This is our month! Wear a cape in public, let the colours shine!! Make some noise this month!! Be the change you wanna see!!
But remember, it's okay to not be out yet. There is no pressure, you will when your ready. When you do, there will be people who will be there to support you.
