Daemon is joining his lord father, lady mother and a couple of their guards on their hunt in the woods. He falls a bit behind the adults.
He hears a noise behind him and Prince of the Rock neighs as he feels his young master tensing in the saddle.
"Find our fathers, boy", Daemon says calmly, stringing his bow from the saddle and letting an arrow fly like Bronn and his father have taught him as Prince of the Rock speeds up.
"You must be the son of the lord of Casterly Rock, you sure look it", the voice of the highwayman says, looking surprised when the arrow from the young lord's bow hits him in the clavicle.
"I'm Daemon Lannister, heir to Casterly Rock, my lord father is Jaime Lannister, the golden lion, lord and master of Casterly Rock and warden of the west, my mother is Lyra Stark, lady of Casterly Rock, lady of the north", Daemon says calmly, letting a second arrow fly, hitting the highwayman in the chest.
Prince of the Rock neighs loudly, the answering call of his sire drawing swiftly nearer as Jaime on the strong back of Wind-Sweeper with Lyra on Lady of the Rock by his side and Bronn on Wolf's Praise by Lyra's other side, burst through the woods as one.
"Are you faring well, my young lord?" Bronn asks, getting up by the side of Daemon, sword drawn, clashing steel with a highwayman coming forth to attack the young lordling.
"I am, Captain, and how are you faring?" Daemon asks.
"Very well indeed, my young lord", Bronn says. "Race now to the side of your lord father, quickly."
"Find our sires, boy, quickly now", Daemon says calmly and Prince of the Rock speeds to the side of his own as well as his master's sire.
Prince of the Rock finds his sire and his master's sire and neighs proudly. The young lord and his horse both pant with exhaustion and fear after their swift ride.
"Daemon, easy, easy, father is here", Jaime says, getting off his horse, lifting his shaking son up into his arms and holding him close to his chest as Wind-sweeper carefully looks over his own offspring. "What happened?"
"Highwayman, m'lord, they came upon your heir in the woods, he fended them off to the best of his ability until I came to aid him", Bronn says.
"We have taught him well then, are you alright...good, I'm gonna put you back on Prince now, okay, okay, there you go", Jaime says proudly, putting Daemon back on his horse before mounting his own steed again.
