Two days later, Jaime and Lyra sits breaking the fast with their children and Bronn when maester Craylen comes in with a letter that he hands to Jaime.
"From your lord brother, the king's new hand", maester Craylen says, handing Jaime the letter from Tyrion.
"Dearest brother, I write you to let you know the outcome of the trial of our dear sister, lady Cersei of house Lannister, she pleaded guilty of attempted adultery with Jaime and Lancel, attempted murder of Lyra and Daemon, attempted murder of her grace the queen. She was sentenced to six months imprisonment in the Red Keep's dungeon, walk of atonement and a lifetime imprisonment with the sisters of the faith. Send my love to your wife and children/Tyrion Lannister, hand of the king"
"What does your brother, the king's hand, say?" Lyra asks.
"Cersei pleaded guilty of attempted adultery with me, attempted adultery with cousin Lancel, she pleaded guilty of attempted murder of you, Daemon and the queen, she was sentenced to six months imprisonment in the dungeons of the Red Keep, walk of atonement after the first three months and a lifetime imprisonment with the sisters of the faith when the next three months", Jaime says.
"Good, good", Lyra says.
"At least she will live", Jaime says. "She probably didn't think she would."
"It's more than she deserves, but Rhaegar is a just king", Lyra says.
"He is a very just king", Jaime says.
"If house Targaryen still had dragons, king Rhaegar could have sentenced your sister to be roasted, just for the attempted murder of my sister the queen, or for trying to frame you, the former hand's son and the new hand's brother", Lyra says.
"That is a tempting thought", Jaime says. "After everything she's done to us, tried having you murdered, tried having our son murdered while in the womb, tried framing me for the attempted murder."
"I know, my love, I know", Lyra says.
"I could do it, I could travel to King's Landing in disguise and do it", Bronn says, overhearing the conversation between Jaime and Lyra.
"Bronn, that's out of the question", Lyra says.
"Cersei is imprisoned in the dungeons of the Red Keep in King's Landing, she will be there for three more months now that she's done her walk of atonement and then she will be sent back to the sisters of the faith", Jaime says. "I could send a raven to Varys in King's Landing, but it would have to be done carefully, so that no one knows it comes from us."
"It would have to be done extremely carefully", Lyra says.
"Of course, my love", Jaime says. "Of course it would be done carefully."
