Jaime is brought a letter from his father, Tywin, the hand of the king, while sitting in the great hall with Lyra, Daemon and maester Craylen.
"A letter from the capital, from my lord father, Tywin of house Lannister, the hand of the king", Jaime says, breaking the seal.
"What does the king's hand, your lord father, say?" Lyra asks.
"He writes us to tell us that your sister, her grace the queen has given birth to a little prince that she and his grace the king have decided to name Jaehaerys", Jaime says.
"Maester, you would do us a great service if you would be so kind as to write a reply back to the lord hand, my lord husband's father and congratulate the royal couple on the birth of the prince", Lyra says.
"Yes, lady Lyra", maester Craylen says, excusing himself to go reply to the letter from lord Tywin in King's Landing.
"How does it feel to have a nephew?" Jaime asks.
"It feels really good, it will be exciting to meet the little prince, our nephew, I'm sure either his grace the king or my sister her grace the queen, will invite us to King's Landing soon", Lyra says.
Lyra isn't completely wrong in her assumption, the invitation to come to the capital to meet the little prince Jaehaerys Targaryen-Stark, comes three weeks later in a letter from Jaime's lord father, Tywin of house Lannister, hand of the king.
When the letter from Tywin arrives, Jaime and Lyra are in their rooms making love on the daybed.
"Lord Lannister, a letter came from King's Landing, from your lord father, may I come in?" maester Craylen says.
"Just a minute, maester, Jaime says, miming "I'll make it up to you later" as he gently pulls out of her and puts a robe on before handing Lyra her robe. "Come in, maester."
Maester Craylen walks in and shuts the door. He walks up to Jaime's and Lyra's bed and hands Jaime the letter from Tywin.
"Lord Tywin Lannister, my father and hand of the king writes to invite us all to the capital to meet the little prince Jaehaerys Targaryen, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Brianna Stark", Jaime says.
