Jaime sits in the lord's chamber with Lyra, Daemon and Gerion.
"So boys, your mother and I have some sad news for you", Jaime says.
"What's happened, father?" Daemon asks.
"Your mother and I lost the baby, your new sibling", Jaime says.
"What was the baby?" Gerion asks.
"A brother", Lyra says.
"Your mother feels guilty about it, but I told her that it's not her fault, it just happened", Jaime says.
"Sorry I failed us, Jaime", Lyra says.
"You didn't fail us, baby, I promise you didn't fail us," Jaime says.
"You promise, Jaime?" Lyra asks.
"Yes, I promise, you didn't fail us", Jaime says.
"Jaime, can you send for the maester? I would like to ask him how soon I can go riding", Lyra says.
"Riding? Horses or me?" Jaime asks.
"Horses", Lyra says, not even smiling at Jaime's jest. "You, I know I can ride as soon as I've healed properly after the birth of the baby."
"I'll send for the maester", Jaime says, getting up to shout at a servant to go find the maester and bring him for them.

The maester shows up after a couple minutes.
"You asked for me", maester Craylen says.
"I have a question for you, maester", Lyra says.
"What is your question, lady Lyra?" maester Craylen asks.
"How soon after this birth can I get back to riding horses?" Lyra asks.
"I would say three or four weeks until you can ride horses, four or five weeks until you can ride the father of your children", maester Craylen says.
"Okay, so four weeks until I get ride horses, five until I can ride my husband?" Lyra says.
"Yes", maester Craylen says, nodding.
"Then we will wait that long, there's other things I can do to please you until we can make love again", Lyra says, putting her hand on Jaime's leg.
"You are very good at those other things that you can do to me, I like those things very much, you please me very much when you do those things to me, my love", Jaime says with a little smile.
"You are dismissed, maester", Lyra says, noticing how uncomfortable the maester is with the conversation between Jaime and Lyra.
